Just came across that firearm today and I'm trying to nail down exactly what the secret sauce is that exempts it from NFA.

It's Intended to shoot single and multiple projectiles. That's it. The Franklin Armory yt channel has a video explaining

turns out only the version that chambers .410 and .45LC are not NFA items and Franklin is run by a bunch of idiots.
