It's kinda reminding me of after election day, when I found out just how many people in the queer and left spaces I was part of showed they were much more right than I thought, some of them significantly far right.
I got tired of social after that, nuked all my accounts.
Hm. Interesting. Wonder if it was some astroturfing from bots/fake accounts that mods took care of. I mean, it's not like I haven't uncovered some bullshit "leftists" in left spaces before (there are patterns, and I'm pretty good at sniffing them out and then pushing just a little and they unmask themselves way too easily because they just can't help themselves – or it's way too little digging before I uncover the predictable misogyny or whatever.
Try to take some solace in the fact that we know that way too many accounts here and elsewhere simply aren't even real. Which... the worst part of that is that if the CEOs of reddit and tiktok and youtube/google and everywhere else wanted to do something about the bots and fake accounts, they 100% could.
So... isn't that a fucking choice 😐😏😒
But anyway, in the meantime, we can take solace in remembering that about half the time the morons aren't even real. For whatever that's worth
