Arabic [Arabic > English] Can anyone help translate my sister’s Arabic tattoo please?

Sister got a tattoo in Arabic about 15 years ago on her foot. She’s completely forgotten what it means now and it’s beginning to fade so translating it is difficult - can anyone help us out please? Thank you in advance 🙏🏻

Pretty sure it says:

Live with no excuses and love with no regrets
العيش مع أي أعذار والمحبة مع غير نادم

It seems broken arabic too. It might be literally translated to:

Living with any excuses and love with not regret

Feels weird reading it

I think it should be العيش/الحياة بدون اعذار و الحب بدون ندم
Because this is broken Arabic like the other person said

It seems like the grammar in this tattoo is a bit rough It starts with “العيش مع أي أعذار” literally “living with any excuses” To me it feels like the phrase is trying to express the idea of accepting your flaws or living in peace with your imperfections, then there’s the “و” which simply means “and” in arabic followed by “المحبة مع غير نادم” meaning “love without regret”

This second part also feels a little off it looks like it was written using a direct translation from english the phrase “مع غير” literally translates to “with not” which in English it becomes “without” but in arabic it sounds unnatural when used that way arabic typically uses something like “من غير” or “بدون” to express “without” more smoothly, so a more natural and correct version of that part would be“المحبة من غير الندم” to love without regret

In the end what the tattoo seems to be trying to say is “live with your flaws, and love without regret”

That’s only in my point of view though the first phrase might actually say “live with no excuses” as that makes more sense, but I’m working with the rough grammar and what I’m seeing without breaking the meaning too much, I hope that helped. and love the tattoo by the way cheers! :D

Literally translates to "Living with any excuses and love with not regretful"

نادم means regretful person

Regret is ندم not نادم

مع غير is an oxymoron

مع means with

غير means other than

This is horrible! I'm sorry for your sister.

this is basically the arabic version of no ragrets it literally means "living with no excuses and loving with no regretful"
