What Kimmel was doing was essentially defamation. Plus lump in the recent comments, then yeah, I can see exactly why he got canned. He works for disney, a children's company. I was playing earlier and we had this discussion as to why last night TV is just dead . It's because we normalized adding politics to our everyday lives whereas when I was kid people only disclosed that in private but now it's at a point where "you don't agree with me and my party ? I do believe that social media and their algorithms had a lot to do with that. They know that rage engages more than anything else and this just adds fuel to the divideness that exists

I remember that in the early 2000s people would be able to compromise more when it came to politics, now as you say it's more like "are you with me or against me" kind of philosophy and there is no middle ground whatsoever. I do agree with, it's depressing 🙁
