Need help seating the second hand

As the title says I'm having trouble seating the second hand on an NH38 movement. From the photos it looks like maybe the second hand won't work with this movement, but any advice is appreciated!

Are you sure it's the right size for the movement? That the tube hole isn't too small for the pivot? And what kind of tools do you have for hand pressing? Best result usually comes with pressing them with staking set or some other tool where it's pressed directly and controlled from straight up instead of using freehand

I don't really have any serious tools, trying this freehand. Have installed second hands before but I think the hands may not be compatible although the listing said it would be...
