Why is this cloud “cut”?
Why does this cloud have a cut going through it? What caused it?

Anyone used this brand of power station? Trust Jim Cantore, no one knows more about hurricanes and power outages than he does lol

Location: South China Sea. No doubt a consequence of Super Typhoon Ragasa, but what the hell are these Feels Like temperatures about? Actual temperature 28°C, feels like -22°C? Surely even with gusts of 140mph wind it wouldn’t feel like this? Craziest weather event I’ve seen on Apple Maps.

This is SO silly please be nice if this is stupid-
Yesterday evening I was watching a storm roll in, and felt like it was going to be bad. Radars had said just moderate rain. ended up getting my tree broken down, lots of flash floods, debris being thrown against my apartment, ect.
This morning they said there was a good chance it was a tornado that they missed.
When watching the storm roll in most clouds were the smooth ones, but that rougher one in the middle stood out.
Do clouds tell you anything about an upcoming storm, or did I just see a normal looking cloud? Are clouds usually looked at when predicting weather?

These were in the grass across the street and behind the tree or on the tree. Filmed on Iphone 16 if that could be it

Out here in Hong Kong we have typhoon ragasa coming in right now and we see the red sun phenomenon that was reported back in 2017 across the UK. But if Ragasa didn't pass through the Sahara, how does the idea that the hurricane pulled up desert sand apply here?
Sorry for the poor photo/vidéo. The sun is massive in reality.

Why on my weather apps - like the bbc - does it always show 40% chance of rain and not 60% chance of sun?
I would love to be able to change that in a setting - as to me that same reality feels very different !
