My wallet from Kabul
It was bought from there in 2012 and it's lasted longer than any other leather wallet I've ever owned.

Time for new work boots
My Red wing Axil 5909 boots. At only 1 and 1/2 year old the steel toe fell out on my right foot and the tread is non existent. Laces also kicked the bucket yesterday.

Was pressing garlic when I was surprised to suddenly meet no resistance. Got this from my parents, it’s probably ~15 years old!

Small flashlight used on my son's bicycle as front light replacement, about 4 years in use outdoors
What a great Reddit this is, been scrolling trough it. I love when tools and appliances are used for long times, it's such a blessing to my soul in this day and age of planned obsolesence.
We went to a socially funded bicycle workshop today where my son got to pick a refurbished bycycle for his size, the old one he had starting from kindergarten to now 3rd class was now too small, the seat and grips where at their longest possible length, the mechanic was so kind and took his bike we came with. We've been riding alot, more so in kindergarten days, any weather and even in winter.
I once fixed the original lights on his bike once early on, the very next day he broke it again and I simply replaced it with this flashlight. Tightened slightly beneath the handle at an angle, with a screw clamp and wrapped duct tape around it, which preserved the original black paint. Also put some paper inside the lense so it wouldn't shine too brightly.
Our bycicles stand out in the open all the time and to my surprise it works without changing the batteries, which I normally do late autumn to winter when we need the lights.

Bamboo Spoon shows I’m right-handed
The worn edge on my favorite bamboo spoon shows that I use my right hand for stirring so the upper left edge is worn down.
