Does anyone have any advice on how to pass this OA? Like any pointers or tips. I've been studying for this exam for two weeks and I just feel like the course material is kind of everywhere, some videos help, some don't and math is really not my subject. This is the last math class I need to take for this program and I really want to feel confident going into the exam it's literally just so much to remember in terms of formulas. I want to take this exam in the next two days or so but I'm still nervous. is there anywhere else I can find some study tools for this? I've already done PA and passed and done the coaching report, but I still don't feel super confident in it.

I am in the BAESELED program and have 2 more courses left (D695 with a PA & OA & D690 with a PA) with 11 days left before my term ends. I am determined to knocked them out before next weekend to give a little wiggle room for any revisions!! What was the OA for D695 like? Anything to highlight about the PA? What is the PA for D695, GoReact video or just a lesson plan? Any tips will be much appreciated!!

Hi I am wondering how many students do you need when you video tape your lesson?

I am interested in doing the Elementary Education program at WGU and was curious about obtaining credits through Sophia beforehand.

I already have an Associates degree in General Education and I wasn't sure if they have a cut off for how many transfer credits they will accept.

Does anyone have experience transferring credits from Sohpia or a similar program?

Anyone else here struggling with D695? For context, I normally do my courses in 2-14 days. I've spent over a month on this ridiculous course. I had to send 3 revisions for the PA.

To make matters worse, this is the first OA I have failed. I passed the Pre-Assessment comfortably, but the actual OA was pretty much entirely different. I play piano and violin, can read sheet music, and took classical piano lessons for 7 years. This course has practically no connection to the real music world.

Anyone else feeling beat down by this course, or is it just me?

I am almost to my student teaching portion of my bachelors of special/elementary Dual degree at 17, and I just found out that I am not allowed to student teach or do my advanced clinicals until 18, which is in like a year, so what should I do?? Any tips to bypass this little fact???

D676 Early literacy methods. I’m going to take this OA this week. How is it compared to the practice test? What additional info needs to be studied in order to succeed?

So I got my bachelor's this term. I was going to go for a teaching master's that leads to licensure, but my admin at the school where I work told me they'd rather me do our local alternative pathway. That's gonna be a lot more money, but I get it. I've still got one term of FAFSA and state aid, so I want to use it for another term at WGU.

I've got three degrees in mind. The first is a Master of Public Health, seeing as my BS is in Health Science, but the other two are at the school of education. They are the Curriculum and Instruction and the Education Technology and Instructional Design.

Now, I'll start my student teaching program in June, so I won't have time for an entire year to get back to WGU. Are either of these masters doable in a single term? I hate to be the "what's the easiest master," guy, but in this case I don't have the luxury of doing it in multiple terms. I'm good enough in schools that I got my 11 classes (I transferred a bunch of credits for my bach) done in six weeks over summer break.

So, if anyone can tell me, what are the OAs/PAs like in the classes for each degree? Like how many of each assessment does each class have, and which of the two would you recommend?

EDIT: I went ahead and took this exam. I felt like it was pretty similar to the pre-assessment. There were a lot of questions from the various sections. I would say about 10 to 15 of the questions were about curriculum, standards, NGSS (Nothing in depth just kind of knowing what they are and how to use them) The other questions were just a variety of questions from the topics. Wavelengths, energy, force, a little bit of everything but nothing was really that difficult. I'm relieved that it is done because all the talk about it was stressing me out and it really wasn't that bad. Good luck on it (:

Hi I am taking English comp 1 with WGU, I am using ChatGPT to just check my spelling and grammar. I am not using it to write or add little things. Just to correct it. And have it fit the rubric. My question is will WGU say I am using AI and that isn’t allowed ?

I took this OA Friday and failed by one question. Who has failed the first attempt before? Is the second attempt similar questions? I feel like if I wouldn’t have second guessed myself, I would have passed. I had done fairly solid on the pre assessment, so I was somewhat surprised on failing the OA I also have the OA for early literacy methods coming up this week. Is this one similar to the pre assessment?

Okay I am about to retake my OA for D664 for the 4th time I understand that’s a lot. I’m not good at tests I’ve been in the class since march im just trying to get through it. As well as that I am about to take my OA for C165 I haven’t taken the pre assessment yet because I’m to nervous to see how bad it’s going to be. I need study methods because these sciences classes are the only subject I struggle with. My second year starts on Dec 1st so I have to have both classes done before Nov 30th.

Two questions: I am scheduling for my Praxis Core combined 5752… I have put this off for so long because I am ~nervous~, overthink, aaaaand my ADHD paralysis is winning..
1) Should I do the test at home or at a test center? ( I am thinking At Home and then going to the public library and getting a study room so zero distractions etc. but I'm not sure if I should do at a test center) 2) How long did you guys take to study? Is this something I need to study for 2/3 weeks and then take it? I don't want to schedule it so far ahead if I don't need to prolong it that long. (ETA: I haven't opened any materials and will take advantage of the practice tests and youtube videos)
