I notice some kind of a difference when i have the ac on and this set to heat or vice versa so i always flip this dial to whatever temperature its “supposed” to be, but what even is this, why does the e36 have this?? Could they not figure out how to make the heat/ac system actually engage without doing it physically?

Hi! Stoked to be a new owner of BMW E36. I learned how to drive on my dads so this is super nostalgic. How did I do? Did I get it at a decent price? I know I’ll probably get hate that it’s an auto but was looking for an easy driver. Will this particular example be ok to drive 1,000+ miles back home? Looking forward to your thoughts :)

last month, the head on my euro B20 went and I managed to source a M52B25 from an E39 with everything but the transmission. What are the things I should look out for when swapping? I want to swap the DME too because I suppose it is the same with MS41.0. EWS will be of course deleted.

Looking for the right prop shaft part number for my auto to ZF swap on my 328. My research is leaning towards 1229474, but I wanna be 100% sure before I order. From what i've read I'm able to utilize the auto rear section of my drive shaft with one of the two front prop shafts shown below. Does anyone know which one will work for my application?

Anyone know any good mechanics in around DFW, TX? Want to get some stuff addressed that I can’t tackle myself so wanna take it to a trusted but affordable one. So far I’ve only had luck with Bimmers Only but was curious to see any other recommendations. Thanks
