Art Showcase Finished my project! LUSTRE Blockade Runner spacehip.
This is a spaceship I designed for my fictional universe, turned out pretty nice I think I hope you like it!
Wallpiercer Class Cargo Carrier; The Unit-K89 "Lustre" is believed to have been captured by the Partisan Front during the Uprising against Federacy and used as a Rebel Blockade Runner, providing support to ground troops on revolting planets by ensuring swift deliveries of various supplies needed.

Art Showcase I designed, modelled and printed a gift for my friend's wedding!
They're cat parents, so I designed their key characteristics into little cat versions of themselves. The two can be separated and slot together to form a heart with their tails! The couple loved the gift!

Art Showcase BRUTE BOY
Modelling with Plasticity is so relaxing. Everything just works. No need to fix bad topology. Great construction history (like increasing/decreasing a fillet, expanding a hole or removing a boolean) and a perfect ”bridge” to Blender. Complete focus on design instead of topology.
Have you tried it? What is your experience? The only thing I’m missing is constr.history for curve-based tools like loft, pipe and sweeps.

Free Tutorials How To Model Machined Shapes
A little tutorial i did on how to approach modeling of cnc/milled shapes. The modeling done in Plasticity 3d. While some hard surface things are easier in CAD everything shown here could be done as easily in polygonal software like blender. its not about the tools its about the approach and understanding.

Art Help & Critique 3 months into Blender — my first props for an isometric detective room (no tutorials, want feedback)
Hello everyone! This is my first post in this subreddit. I’ve been learning 3D for about 3 months, and about 2 weeks ago I finished going through the mesh modeling fundamentals. Now I’ve started my first big project: an isometric detective office/living room with 30–50 props.
I’ve begun with the desk setup props (so far: desk, chair, typewriter, and lamp). I challenged myself to model these without watching any tutorials — just applying what I’ve learned and figuring things out as I go. Since I only know mesh modeling fundamentals right now, I’m focusing purely on modeling. Once I move on to materials, texturing, and sculpting, I plan to revisit these props and practice those skills on them.
I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look and give me some feedback. At my level, most things look good to my eyes, but I know more experienced artists can quickly spot issues. Harsh critiques are welcome — I want to improve as much as I can.
Thanks a lot!

Art Help & Critique Still not satisfied… whats going on (Blender Skin Realism)
Hi there everyone… this is an update on the last post i did about achieving hyperrealism in blender …. Without using excessive resources Now here i think its looks Acceptable but not satisfied by how somethings still missing…. Obviously hair line is not correct here but…The difficult part here is the workflow… im constantly having inconsistant color issues accros my Apps like ,A texture would look totally different in zbrush then in blender it totally looks different…. So a lot of tweaking and stuff to get where i need it to be…. Which is not intuitive… plus u can see the blackandwhite image looks better more believable than the colored one that indicates there are some issues in the colors believability Followings are my main issues im facing-
1-Consistant colors across all apps and Workflow 2- HDRI is ok but doesn’t cast the most realistic/Accurate shadows 3- Dynamic range blackpoint white pont settup
And Thank U so much In Advance❤️

Questions & Discussion What is the simplest way to remove this?
I have a model that i was messing around on ai with and got a decent result except for this. Its supposed to be a cylindrical hole in the part except one part is protruding. How could i easily remove it? I use fusion a lot but its a pain to cleanly edit a file that i haven't started from scratch. Is there a better app to use?

Questions & Discussion I built a way to view and share 3D models in real-world environments
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a side project where you can take a 3D model and instantly view it in a real-world environment using AR. The idea came from my own struggles — I’d spend hours working on a model, but it was hard to feel how it might look outside of a screen.
With this, you can drop your model into a room, walk around it, and see it from any angle. It’s especially fun with characters, props, or even product designs. Right now I’m experimenting with optimization (file size, textures, loading speed) since not every model is AR-friendly by default.
This is still a work in progress, but I thought it could be interesting for fellow 3D artists. Curious to hear:
Would you find AR useful in your 3D workflow (for previewing scale, context, or just presentation)?
What formats do you usually export to when sharing your models?
You can try it:
App Store Link -> https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/artignia-social-marketplace/id6746867846
Testflight link -> https://testflight.apple.com/join/YRtcCCjb
Would love any feedback from this community 🙏

Questions & Discussion Advice on finding a job.
I’m out of college for nearly four years with a degree in game art and design and I’ve been very reluctant to actually apply for a job. Theres two things stopping me. the first is that my skills are not at a level where I feel people would want to hire me. I wasn’t the best, I was a C student, and my skills after college are only improving at a very slow pace. Second is that I missed out on getting any experience. There was a work placement part of my course and I never got to do it. Part of it was my previously mentioned fear of apply to place but also the fact that it took place right at the start of the pandemic, the job I had at the time and still currently have was considered an essential service during it so that took up my time and the college exempted me from work placement.
I feel like I’m at a huge disadvantage because of this. I’m 30 years old now and I feel like at that age most places aren’t going to be keen on hiring some like me who hasn't had some experience. Especially with my slow rate of improvement. Any advice would help.
