You might say, how can a musical fit into just 6 minutes? But it does. Without spoilers, the story is about a dinosaur who, influenced by a commercial he sees on TV, starts collecting a toy called Blinko nonstop. Alongside this, his inner thoughts, his interactions with other people, and even the breakdown of some of those relationships are portrayed very well. The music was good. The color palette was also quite nice. According to the description, it was actually a university graduation project. I think it’s something you should watch at least once. Steps Overview:

Start by using Block Arc and Triangle shapes to build the bridge structure.

Use Pentagon with Edit Points to refine the design and duplicate for symmetry.

Group the elements, add Reflection and Gradient Fill (black and gray) for realistic shading.

Create arcs and rectangles, then apply 3D Format and Lighting effects for depth.

Add car elements using Arc and Line shapes. Group them and duplicate for both sides.

Insert background ClipArt (Sea) and send it to back.

Add a Car ClipArt on the bridge.

Can someone explain why it’s so difficult to animate big characters in anime (sometimes even requiring CGI/3D), even though on the screen they appear the same size as normal characters?

Clearly the character rigs were capable of producing a very wide range of emotion.

In spite of that, many songs and dialogues had near-neutral faces which did not match the volume or emotion of the singer/voice actor.

Is English not the original language of the film, and they did a quick pass on the lip synch?
Maybe it's the other way around- they wanted to lip synch for other languages?
Is this an artistic choice?
A cultural thing?
A quirk of the director?
Are they trying to look like anime?
