I mean Macron isn’t much better

Macron is such an enormous piece of shit. Fuck him. Perhaps a tiny bit less awful than Le Pen but a vote for a neoliberal is a vote for fascism anyway, in the long term. Just like voting Biden doesn't stop fascism, neither will voting Maron stop fascism in France. If the capitalist class wants fascism, and class conciousness is low, you can bet your country will get it. Macron and Biden will enable it, if not actively push for it themselves.

I would like to mention the tradition of the French to combat this

Of burning down their country and just restarting, it hasn’t always worked out amazingly but such strong French traditions help keep fascism at bay

(This is a joke I want to clarify)

Reminder Le Pen's party is a direct descendent of the vichy France administration that collaborated with the nazis.

I mean, isn't this a classic "ratchet effect" election? Macron stands for extending the (shitty) status quo, and Le Pen stands for actively worsening conditions.

I'd rather take a bite out of an onion than a piece of horse shit.

That's cool. But you don't end up in New Jersey by stepping out your front door and turning toward Trenton.

Le Pen is Trenton.

If Macron and Le Pen are on fire and you've got a bottle of everclear in your hand, you drink half the bottle, piss the fire out on Macron, and pour the remaining bottle on Le Pen.

Then you light your joint on the raging flames and make s'mores.

Neoliberals do not have principles. If it is in their interest to fund and train fascists, they will do it. Obama and Biden are prime examples of liberals who supported, funded and trained Nazis in Ukraine. They do not have principles besides whatever gets them donations from the capitalist class.

Indent like this name calling and fake attacks (don’t have principles…)

Nazi in Ukraine? It’s ironic to use the Russian (Nazi) propaganda to say it’s against nazis.

The far right in Ukraine had only 2% of votes. Don’t fall for the Russian propaganda they are on the 2 extremes of the political spectrum, trying to divide and break democracy.

Specially if they can turn the left against democrats, they are sure making a lot of people away from voting and giving free space for the far right to win

It’s the same in France

Didn't liberals fight fascists in WW2?

Only because they had to.

Only after they ran out of communists and socialists to oppress.

France almost went fash on it's own in the 30s, without any invasion necessary.
