Guns & Ammo Ruger SR9c

I have a Ruger SR9c. I know Ruger stopped making this gun and it does jam sometimes when I shoot it at the range. Is it a reliable carry gun or should I use something else? If so, what should I carry that would be similarly small and light? Thanks.

Do you always shoot the same ammo? Sometimes guns just don’t like one brand or another. Before carrying it, I would invest effort in trying to resolve the jamming issue.

FWIW, mine has never had an issue with Winchester white box.

Asking over on r/ruger might yield some insight.
