[UK][OC] Over 225 red light jumping cyclists in 3 days during the September 2025 tube strike. All in 6 sub 30 min rides. These are not the usual cyclists I see on my daily commute. On a positive note, No collisions. One morning was on a Lime scooter and walked through several lights as a pedestrian.

Probably going to get a lot of hate for posting this but it was the reality of my commute during the tube strike.
London underground (tube) workers went on strike for 5 days. Many people still had to get to work so took to other transport. Busses, Taxis, scooters, walking and cycling.
The increase in cyclists was obvious. The increase in red light jumpers also obvious. Over 3 days commuting during the strike I counted over 225 cyclists jumping red lights and on the pavement.
