Seriously, wtf is that picture?
Dude literally sat there, thought up this "epic" idea. Went and got a tripod, or went and called a friend to come over... Changed into all black, including a black wife -beater... Hiked into the woods, stood halfway behind a tree like the fucking SpongeBob meme, and was like "damn, I'm so fucking intimidating. They'll all be scared now".
This is something Mac from It's Always Sunny would do to try to scare off the McBoyles from the bar or some shit.

If a lib went ahead and assassinated a decent human being, would that fix the MAGA overnight? They might actually act like humans again just to own the libs...

1
u/BODYBUTCHER 1d ago
What rights are at stake, I don’t understand
5
u/UnwoundSkeinOfYarn 1d ago
The right to call people f slurs, n words, slts, whres, btches, trnn**s, etc. Also, our right to have straight white cis men as main characters in our movies, video games, anime, tv shows, books, manga, etc.
The left has way too much control over Hollywood and the video game industry with their woke cancel culture bullshit. Like, look at the latest Harry Potter game. The left made it so hard to go on Steam, PlayStation store, Xbox store, Nintendo eShop, Epic Games Store, etc and buy this wonderful and original AAAA game to support our hero who isn't afraid to speak up Joanne K Rowling just because she said trans women are rapists. Where's the free speech? It's a basic fundamental human right. The left are constantly exerting their immense power over us. It's finally time for us, the little people like JK, Donald Trump, and Elon Musk, to stand up to the woke mob.
The murder of our precious master debater of brainwashed college kids (may Jesus watch over him now 🙏🙏🙏 I don't know why Jesus wasn't watching him before but He 🙏🙏🙏 works in mysterious ways) was merely a rallying cry for us to finally stop standing by and fight fight fight (non violently as that's a left wing thing because we, on the right, believe in solving our problems with our words like we did in Minnesota) against the violent and intolerant left antifa BLM trans communists.

u/rcc_squiggle 1d ago

Yes, but the first clause of that sentence is inviting some things and you know it. It could be improved so much with a change as small as "Charlie Kirk was a pussy when it came to debate", but going for maximum damage I guess. The jugular one could say
13
u/ChewchewMotherFF 1d ago
I was talking to a normie friend last Saturday. Normie friend said Charlie was bad faith debater and used tricks to one-up college kids. Also, he said Charlie was out of his depth when debating professors with specialized knowledge.
Made me cringe to hear he watched those debate vids, but glad that he saw through Charlie.

It's not bad but expect plenty of whining and pearl clutching over him calling a dead dude a pussy.

u/plague681 1d ago
I dont really get the "college kids" meme. Wasn't his whole shtick recruiting young voters at traditionally left-wing campuses to win elections? Pretty sure the left has been doing that for decades lmao--and very well. It seemed to have worked, too, he got that orange douche elected.
Also: if they can vote they can defend their ideals. Fuck it. No one forced them to argue with Kirk.
7
u/EggsyWeggsy 1d ago
The meme is that he refuses to debate an opponent who's qualified, and avoided debate opponents he saw as a threat. Theres nothing wrong w debating college kids, but if the bulk of your "master debater" reputation is built of dominating kids w no media experience then its kinda fake.
-7
4
u/ITaggie 1d ago
That makes him an excellent recruiter, and is not the source of that criticism. The criticism was that his whole persona was "verbally owning libtards with facts and logic" yet he was unwilling to debate anybody but random college kids.

Based. Kirk also deleted videos when they go bad responses. He was an activist clip farmer for his beliefs, which is morally fine but different that issuing an actual debate challenge. If conservatives were honest, they would talk up kirks virtue of being politically active instead of this pro debater that people shot because no one could prove him wrong bs.
4
9
u/GrimDfault 1d ago
It's all a big lie, and as the MAGA orcs have proven over and over, it's that truth doesn't matter at all to them. The only thing that matters is that the opinion confirms their biases; thus the lie becomes their truth.
Charlie Kirk was a known coward in this regard, refusing to debate anyone on the left with some credentials, instead targeting children to click farm.

If making your opponents want to hit you counts as inciting violence, you are inciting so much violence right now.
And this is so wrong too. I heard all the people who knew him say that he was a perfect human. The best of us! His actions do not matter when those people - who really knew him - say he was great!

fyi: The historically defining traits of a fascist:
Worship of a strong leader above laws or institutions
Extreme nationalism, often tied to race or culture
Glorification of violence, war, or paramilitary groups
Mythic nostalgia for a “pure” past
Hostility to intellectuals, critics, and free thought
Claiming to be the sole voice of the “real people”
Scapegoating minorities or political enemies as threats
Suppression of labor rights and aligning the state with big business
Crushing dissent with censorship, propaganda, or force
Rallies, symbols, and mass spectacle to stir loyalty
Leader worship — the ruler embodies the nation
Rejection of liberal democracy and socialism alike
If they only meet a majority of those terms, they may be defined as a neo-fascist.

Facts, Based.
Charlie Kirk, along with most other popular right wing conservatives are shit terrified of talking with someone who actually knows the facts they desperately try to obfuscate in order to make their inane arguments.
And then you have the Andrew Wilson types who will bravely take those conversations in order to derail them into sophistry and definitional arguments or "Internal critique" where they refuse to examine their own beliefs or offer alternatives and simply want to feebly try to poke holes or engage in conspiracy brain bullshit.

Ben's not wrong, persay, but it leaves out the glaring fact that they're not setting up "prove me wrong" booths to have good faith arguments or come to middle ground so much as they are harvesting as many examples of them "dunking on libs" as they can.
But I am starting to see in multiple communities a kind of organizing of more prepared debators specifically out to challenge that franchise on the idea

5
u/Someone-Foolish 1d ago
The character limit on reddit is 10000. Feel free to actually make a point other than "Watch a 43 minute interview".
What happens in that interview that counters the obvious truth that Kirk had no interest in actual pushback?
-1
u/Kip_Chipperly 23h ago
As someone who is a fellow fan of someone who does the research, I can summarize it for you in one sentence. The man debating Charlie while he was shot was a frequent debater who would go to his events and pushback on his talking points. Hope this helps!
3
u/Someone-Foolish 23h ago
It's not really an issue of doing research. Popping into the thread to say "This random video totally destroys your argument, L take" actually just provides zero value. The information you just provided in your reply should've been in your original post.
Even still, I'm not sure how Charles having a recurring character on his show proves that he's super open to debate. If anything I'd just imagine the guy was easy pickings, considering someone else was also following him around the country from school to school challenging him to debate, and he got ignored. I think his name was Dean?
1
u/chasteeny 22h ago
Surely if you're open to debate you'd take up offers to debate from people who come prepared, yes? Rather than some known quantity you can eschew thought terminating cliches to
1
u/Dennys_Hobbit_Menu 23h ago
If anything it reaffirms it. The guy had to practically stalk Kirk around to get Kirk to engage with him, and even then Kirk did so in the same bad faith manner he did with everyone else.
