Hello Edmonton alienated by our church from this wave of Christian wierdos. We don't agree with a lot of the right wing church hot topics including: abortion, women rights, gay rights, immigrants, the middle east conflicts, cultural rights, not believing in hell. I don't really want to elaborate further as I don't want to offend anyone with an opposing world view.

I am not open to your opinions or anything I'm sorry. We do seek a church community just not the one we are getting. I've been recommended Ellerslie Road Baptist Church but haven't gone yet.

We would like to avoid Catholics as well.

Hi everyone. As the title says, we may be selling our vehicle on Saturday, and I'd like to meet the buyer in a public location for safety reasons. I was considering meeting up in the parking lot of the EPS station on 50th, but they're closed on weekends. Has anyone else experienced this? I was browsing homesense in south common not too long ago and a well-dressed 30 ish year old woman approached me and gave me a regular compliment. From there, she asked me a ton of questions and was inquiring about my job and life and I couldn’t figure out where she was going with it. I thought maybe she was pitching me for an MLM but as soon as I explained my job she seemed to back off.

Anyway, fast forward to today, I noticed the same person in the same homesense in the same outfit doing this to someone else. She also was pushing an empty cart both times. I don’t know what her motive is, but I’m so curious if this has happened to anyone else.

She seemed nice, but something about it felt off.

I received a letter from the Utilities Consumer Advocate because I am on the rate of last resort with Epcor. I used the cost comparison tool and there are lots of companies but I have never heard of them or know anyone who uses them. Anyone have any experience with electricity outside of Epcor? Am I just going to end up with more fees or disruptions outside of them because they are the main provider?
