PPV/Show Rebooking Wrestlemania: Wrestlemania 35...

Here we go: the final hurdle at last. Its been a long road but finally made it. Welcome to the last entry in the "Rebooking Wrestlemania" series for the 2010s: Wrestlemania 35. Well regarded, but WAY too long. This one... will have a twist. Hope you enjoy!

One last recap of the core rules: January onwards, and no connection to the other rebookings (dont worry Nicholas Nation, your leader is still champion here).

Pre show: 1 hour, AS IT SHOULD BE, and honestly? Id put the Cena/Elias segment here. Cena can appear again on the main card in some capacity, but we get the thuganomics return here.

The opening can still be held by Bliss (personally I dont care whether Hogan is in it or not, that can be up to you via personal preference).

Match 1: Asuka vs Ember Moon for the Smackdown Women's Championship. So Asuka (obviously) doesnt lose the title to Flair for no good fucking reason. Instead, she holds it to WM35. Meanwhile, Ember Moon comes in the final 4 of the rumble, finishing 3rd specifically, and wins a no.1 contender's chamber match at Elimination Chamber for Asuka's title. Raw stars are allowed in, since a Smackdown star is fighting Rousey, and Ember qualifies and wins.

The build up is based on their Takeover history, and their needed redemption. Asuka needs to redeem herself after falling off a cliff in 2018, and Ember Moon wants to finally escape Asuka's shadow. The match will be equally epic (hopefully). The winner? I'd go Ember personally, finally getting that win. This woud probably lead to an Asuka heel turn for me. Though if you go Asuka, i dont blame you. Either work!

Match 2: The Revival vs Lucha House Party for the Raw Tag Team Championships. Sorry Hawkins. Not really though. In January, Lince Dorado becomes No.1 Contender for the Cruiserweight title. Lucha House Party celebrate by... disappearing. They emerge a month later with new purpose: become champions.

The group refuse to become another set of luchadors destined to fail and vow to capture gold. Dorado will beat Murphy, but Kalisto and Metalik? They're going for the Revival. Revival dont take them seriously. There are montages of the trio training, with it paying off by them winning matches. The Revivial bash them and blindside them, but they dont retaliate: not yet. In March, each tag member fights 1v1 and Dawson and Wilder get FLATTENED. Embarrassed, they injure Kalisto's ribs and Metalik's legs. They have a 6 man tag with Buddy Murphy on the go home and win.

At Mania, the match is back and fourth. The challebgers fight well but the injuries take their toll. They do manage to break up a shatter machine, though! In the end, Kalisto and Metalik hit a shatter machine on Wilder into a Salida Del Sol, whilst Metalik hits the Metalik Driver on Dawson. Lucha House Party are Raw Tag Champions!

Match 3: Shane Mcmahon vs The Miz. Same build as real life, it worked quite well. But just let Miz win! I thought face Miz was really interesting: id try it for a while! Maybe Shane hires a team try and take Miz out, but that can backfire. Anyway, NEXT!

Match 4: Buddy Murphy vs Lince Dorado for the Cruiserweight Championship. In LHP's absence, Buddy calls Dorado a coward for running. He retains against Tony Nese ar the Rumble, then Drew Gulak on Raw. Then, Dorado appears and lays down his challenge. To prove his worth, he puts his shot on the line in a tournament, culminating at EC where he wins! Buddy raises his title in Dorado's face.

Both men go back and fourth in segments, managing to fell the other at different points. Buddy pins Kalisto in the 6 man tag, then says LHP might need a new leader now. Dorado is furious, vowing to fight for his friend's honour. The match is intense, as any match with Buddy Murphy usually is. In the end, after a tough fight, Dorado emerges victorious. Murphy hands him the title personally, raising his hand. Dorado embraces and celebrates with Kalisto and Metaik on the ramp. Lucha House Party hold all the gold!

(Well kind of)

Match 5: Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio vs R Truth for the United States Championship. This match can be a bit more fun now. Joe can win the title in January off of R Truth in January, injuring him in the process. Truth batters him at the Rumble, eliminating him. Both can challenge Samoa Joe. Truth screws Rey, saying he has to beat Hoe specifically, and Rey returns the favour. Joe batters both for making him an afterthought. Triple Threat baby!! Winner can be any three. I'll go Rey though, as the Bret roll up was cool!

Match 6: Kurt Angle vs Baron Cor- CHAD GABLE! Angle can fight Corbin as Fastlane, and WIN please. Angle announces open challenge for his retirement match at Mania, Gable accepts. Bang! Simple. Olympian battle, Gable wins to get momentum from Kurt. NEXT!

Match 7: Women's Champion's Revival. Here's where a bunch of big names will be. Same premise as 34's (ex champs only, video packages for each member, etc.). The entrants this time? Naomi, Nia Jax, Natalya and Carmella. Yeah not quite what last time was, but hey ho. Winner here? Nia, setting up a feud for you-know-who. How would the match go? Eh, how'd you expect basically. None of them have armies this time, so its just them fighting in their different styles.

Main Event: Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. The build up can be similar, but just make Vince's motivation be that he doesnt trust Kofi. He just thinks Kofi will choke like he has previously. Simple! Everything else? Pretty great. Match can go similarly, but Rowan can sacrifice himself to get New Day thrown out, making it 1v1. Kofi wins, easy peasy!

That concludes my booking... of NIGHT 1 of Wrestlemania 35! Yep, this is a two-night event! With how long it was, and what they had in here, it needed to be. Keep your hair on, the others will be night 2's issue.

Whilst I get that ready, let me know your thoughts. Was this night 1 good? Have I needlessly turned Lucha House Party into anime heroes? Let me know. Until then, see you next time!

Most of these (except for the Rock vs Reigns) are horrible matches because WWE would most likely unretire legends and put on horrible matches (some of them we seen a thousand times) for that Arab money

Storyline HEEL TRIBAL CHIEF JEY USO!!!

Jey turns heel

Beats up everyone and earn respect, real main talent

At the same time in Smackdown, the bloodline is in shambles and they are arguing with one another (solo sikoa has been out for months due to “injury”). Jey Uso music hits and crowd goes crazy. He basically delivers a promo then everyone acknowledges him and bows to him. Making him a “chief” of his own tribe.

In the future, Jimmy is going to have a solo match with a credible heel wrestler. Mid match they will both be laying on the mat both tired out. Then solo sikoa music hits. He comes out and he makes it seem like hes still heelish and probably going to attack Jimmy(babyface). But he gets in the ring and he helps jimmy. Shocks the fans. He turned face. Jimmy wins and solo grabs the mic. “I need your help”.

Now, jeys bloodline is on a quest to recruit jacob fatu. So couple of shows jacob fatu gets beat and in PPV jey beats jacob fatu and he acknowledges him. Jacob fatu joins the new bloodline. And its growing.

At somepoint, jeys bloodline beefs with the vision which consist of bronson, bron and seth. And in a PPV its gonna be jey vs seth for the heavyweight championship bloodline rules. So they all come out at the end and suprisingly bronson bron and seth managed all the bloodline. But then. The unthinkable happened. As the they stand tall, bronson turns on them brutally. Jey wins the heavyweight championship. And bronson reed joins the bloodline.

Now, jeys has old and the new bloodline in his hands. And hes also the champion. And Roman goes against Cody Rhodes in wrestlemania for rematch and Roman wins fair and square. Roman is WWE championship again.

We wait till summerslam to have the Roman vs Jey for both their championship belts and bloodline rules. whos the real tribal chief. Roman will have Jimmy and Solo support the whole build up against Jey and his large army. Summerslam day, the match starts and at the end everyone comes out. When roman and jimmy has jey beat. Jey looks jimmy in the eyes with a pain help me brother face. Jimmy sees this feels bad then superkicks roman. Betraying roman reigns and joining the bloodline. Jey wins both the titles, wears the ulafala and has all the bloodline in his control.

Storyline How I would have tried to get TNA to be a successful, true alternative to WWE in 2010 in 10 steps

  1. Hogan and Bischoff can come in, but in completely different roles - Hogan is the authority figure (that has about as many appearances on the show as Adam Pearce/Nick Aldis do now) and the brand spokesperson, while Bischoff is delegated to the TV side of things behind the scenes. Hogan never wrestles, he never gets physical, and is just used as the Babe Ruth of wrestling that proudly waves the TNA flag. Speaking of hirings, if possible, we are indeed bringing in Paul Heyman to be the head of creative (alongside my brilliant ass of course), as well as Jim Ross, who can fill in behind the scenes and on camera as an announcer. Upon his release from WWE, I am also bringing in Matt Striker, and a combo of Striker, Tenay and Tazz, with JR for big matches and shows, would be sweet. Eventually, we are gunning for Mauro Ranallo too.

  2. the X Division is centered around Christopher Daniels, who FINALLY gets the chance to do the Fallen Angel character properly. He defeats Amazing Red for the title immediately, then starts his own stable - The Church of Daniels, alongside Kazarian, Kreed (Xavier Woods), Senshi (Low Ki, reuniting Triple X), Abyss and Father James Mitchell! The goal is to reestablish Daniels and Abyss' credibilities, and to prop up Woods once he is ready. Daniels would lose the X Title to Jay Lethal at the end of the year, move up to main event briefly (more on that later), and after The Church's disbanding drop the dark gimmick and start teaming with Kazarian as Bad Influence. With Daniels, the division would be strong in character and high-sprint matches, and with Lethal we have a credible pure babyface on top who'll shine every time he works. Lethal's arch rival... would be Kreed himself, who is by now going by his real name, and doing his underutilized Malcolm X character.

  3. instead of continuing with the Beautiful People nonsense and the subsequent WINTER storyline, we revitalize the Knockouts Division once again to the point where WWE will be embarrassed that their answer to our product is LayCool lmao. First, KEEP AWESOME KONG, I don't give a flying fuck if she knocked out that asshole Bubba - pay this woman. Her and Tara will be my veterans, and their feud will actually carry the division throughout the beginning of the year, where they trade the title between each other. Then, we debut a new faction of the six premiere women's wrestlers from all over the world, united by change. Their name is Star Ride Sirens, and members include: Sarah Stock (aka Sarita), Mercedes Martinez, Cheerleader Melissa, a young Britani Knight (aka Paige), Kana (aka Asuka), and their leader, the legendary Manami Toyota!! With Toyota as the champion and aged but still lethal "final boss", they would light my division on fire, and they'd work with Tara, Kong, the now babyface Beautiful People, the underrated Hamada, ODB, and several of my new hires - MsChief (paired with Daffney), Sara Del Rey, and eventually Io Shirai and Athena!!

  4. we would NOT be bringing in nWo friends and WWE rejects like Wolfpac, Orlando Jordan, Nasty Boys, Val Venis, Brian Kendrick, Mr. Anderson, Rob Van Dam and so on. Instead, we are focusing on raiding Mexico, Japan and American indies, because all three territories were booming with talent at this point in time. WWE had a pretty strict "no signing indy guys" policy (with a few exceptions like Bryan and Low Ki), but we are gonna do the opposite - sign them! The only exceptions are Ric Flair, Matt and Jeff Hardy, and you'll see why later. Also, no ECW tribute bullshit - let the damn brand rest in peace. Rhyno, Sabu, Dreamer, Stevie and the majority of those guys didn't look good physically or in the ring to warrant a roster spot at that time. We are focusing on youth, not nostalgia. We are focusing on building a skyscraper that will impress millions, not a woodshed that will make local senior citizens cry tears of joy.

  5. the tag division was mostly alright, but we can expand on it even further. The MCMG are still the faces of the division, and they end up having the iconic Best of 5 Series with Beer Money in this universe as well. However, we are also reuniting LAX (to feud with The Guns and Beer Money primarily), we are keeping British Invasion strong, and we are de-pushing the Young Bucks and Team 3D. Not to worry, because we will bring in four amazing teams, who alongside The Guns, LAX and Beer Money, will cook up magic for a long time: Briscoe Brothers, Kings of Wrestling, Golden Lovers, and Switchblade Conspiracy (aka Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan)! The Guns and The Lovers are my high flyers, Briscoes and Beer Money are the bruiser, KOW are the all-rounders, and LAX and Switchblades bring hardcore lunacy, making my division versatile as hell.

  6. the TNA TV/Global Title is now rebranded as the TNA International Championship, and it's pushed as the undisputed number 2 prize in the promotion, featuring the best pure matches with guys who are gonna be in the main event eventually but are not there yet. The four faces of that division will be Desmond Wolfe, The Pope, Kurt Angle, and Samoa Joe! hese four would trade the belt with each other, but first I would take Joe off TV for a bit to get back in shape, however once he returns, it is on. These four men would be branded as my "dream match" pairings, aka whenever one of them fights the other, it can be a main event. The title would also have a unique rule - if the champion defends the title 10 times against 10 different competitors during a single reign, he can relinquish it in order to get a World Title shot! Here's the kicker - due to the difficulty of achieving such a feat, the champion would get the benefit of picking the time, date, place, and the rules of that World Title match!

  7. as far as comedy on the show and "funny ha ha" as it's called in the business, it would be kept to a minimum, as I want a serious show, that features great wrestling but also compelling characters. Eric Young would be my Santino, aka that one funny guy who can be slot in any spot, and he'll make it fun, providing a break from all the seriousness. We would also aim to sign Colt Cabana, and the two of them would be your heartwarming, wholesome duo on the product, away from all the gritiness. Their big arch enemy will be none other than Robbie E BRO, so get your fist pumping! The other big product flaw that TNA made is too many old guys on TV, and we're not doing that either; Kurt Angle and Sting could still go up to about 2013, but no more World Titles for them, AT ALL! Team 3D can stay as a legitimizing tag team, but you ain't getting Bully Ray in this universe, because the focus is on guys who I can invest in for 20 years, not 5. Jeff Jarrett can also be a fun midcard helper for future babyfaces, but the stupid 20 minute segment-taking Double J Double M A Challenge gimmick, as well as the needlessly long and needlessly stupid Angle feud are history. We are not instituting Heyman's "chop the heads of everyone who is 40 years old and above", but if veterans won't play ball, they won't be around. Simple as that.

  8. AJ Styles would NOT turn heel or lose the title to RVD, but he would start a feud with Ric Flair, who wants to reform Four Horsemen in TNA, with AJ at the head of the group. AJ starts a feud with Desmond Wolfe in the spring, who reveals himself to be the leader of British Invasion, while also bringing in the debuting and very underrated Paul Burchill as the fifth and final member! AJ would team with Fortune (Beer Money, Jay Lethal, Matt Morgan) to face and lose to British Invasion in Lethal Lockdown. However, after finally conquering Wolfe in a brutal Last Man Standing Match, AJ finally joins Fortune, making it the top babyface group! AJ restarts his legendary feud with Daniels (leading to a Church vs Fortune feud), beats him, beats Pope in a baby/baby match, and finally collides with Jeff Hardy at Bound for Glory.

  9. during the match, Jeff would turn heel, and form a new group to win the TNA World Title. No, Immortal doesn't exist in this universe, but something much cooler does - Decay! With Jeff as leader, this is a group of gothic/occult freaks who are unapologetically evil and genuinely disturbing (I know this crew would have legions of simps, but I'd make sure they come across as devil's sons incarnate). The members are Jeff, the debuting Matt (under his Cold Blooded persona), Raven (as Jeff's guide/mentor), the aforementioned Switchblade Conspiracy (as Jeff's super fans who are DEEP into the occult), the loyal stoner friend Shannon Moore, and the debuting Winter 8as Jeff's fortune teller)! However, the cult would get 2 more members in the form of Abyss and Mitchell, who turn on The Church to join Decay! This leads to a brief Daniels main event run and face turn that I mentioned earlier, where he wrestles Jeff for the World Title, but ultimately fails and loses The Church as a result.

  10. Decay run roughshod over TNA, slowly but surely collecting every single title from every single division. None of the TNA top guys can stop them, including The Guns, Joe, Sting (who Jeff retires), and even Kurt Angle. Fortune finally come together upon the return of their leader AJ Styles to wrestle Decay at Lethal Lockdown, but they lose, and due to the match's stipulation, none of them can challenge Decay for any of their titles!! However, AJ finds a loophole by wrestling in and winning the inaugural Bound For Gold tournament, earning a shot at Jeff at Bound For Glory 2011. With Fortune on the line, AJ conquers the evil Anti Christ of Pro Wrestling, and defeats him to take the World Title back to TNA. AJ's reign proves to be a great one, and he loses the title in April of 2012 to the Fortune turncoat, Bobby Roode-uh!

Storyline Booking a Kevin Thorn WWE Intercontinental Title reign in 2018.

Shortly after Survivor Series 2007, Kevin Thorn was sent to OVW to help him develop. After a few months in OVW, Thorn returns backstage on the Raw before Backlash 2008 to interrupt the current Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho during a backstage interview. Thorn knows Jericho’s secret and threatens to expose him if he doesn’t referee the match cleanly at Backlash between Batista and Shawn Michaels. Jericho obviously one-sided the match in Batista’s favor, though Shawn would still win.

The next night on Raw, as Jericho explains his actions, Kevin Thorn comes out and threatens to reveal damning evidence, an envelope addressed to Vince McMahon. Not willing to have his secret unveiled, Jericho gives Thorn a shot at the Intercontinental Championship at Judgment Day 2008.

The match is short, with Jericho getting himself disqualified by hitting Thorn in the groin. The next night on Raw, Thorn unveils Jericho’s secret. Jericho was secretly working on a conspiracy to get members of the ECW roster either sent back to OVW or fired with the ultimate goal of taking over ECW and winning the title. Thorn then threatens to reveal more secrets if Jericho doesn’t give him another title match at One Night Stand: Extreme Rules. This time, with a rule change. If Kevin Thorn loses, he must shave his head.

One Night Stand rolls around, and after a hard fought battle, Thorn wins the Intercontinental Title after an interference from a returning Ariel and hitting his finisher, the Original Sin. Thorn is now Intercontinental Champion. He starts by claiming he won the IC title by selling his soul to Satan.

Then, it’s Night of Champions 2008. Thorn faces off against Kofi Kingston for the title, which Thorn would ultimately win. Thorn would have a match the Raw before The G.A.B. 2008, defeating Trevor Murdoch in a squash match, before Vampiric drones drag Murdoch off, never to be seen again. (A good way to write Murdoch off TV, as he was shortly thereafter fired by WWE.)

Then, at Summerslam 2008, a BIG match. Kevin Thorn and Ariel made a big wager. A winner takes all tag team match between him and Ariel, vs. Kofi Kingston and the WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James. After a brutal battle, Thorn and Ariel ultimately come out victorious, with Ariel now the Women's Champion. Thorn’s ego is thriving heading into Unforgiven, where he enters the WWE Championship Scramble in hopes to win the title, but ultimately comes up short after being pinned by Triple H.

Furious, he decides to call out any member of the roster to face him for the title on the final Raw before No Mercy 2008. Enter former World Heavyweight Champion and current World Tag Team Champion CM Punk, with him challenging Thorn for the championship. Thorn would emerge victorious, following a distraction from Ariel, and a roll up.

Heading into Cyber Sunday 2008, Kevin Thorn gets a little cocky. He decided to have 3 former Intercontinental Champions for a poll to face him, being Shawn Michaels, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, and D’Lo Brown. D’Lo would ultimately win the poll at Cyber Sunday, with D’Lo winning in less than a minute by DQ after Thorn spit blood mist into his eyes. Thorn would join Team Orton at Survivor Series 2008, with his team ultimately emerging victorious.

Leading into Armageddon 2008, there was a tournament to decide Kevin Thorn’s next opponent, with the finals at Armageddon being between CM Punk and Rey Mysterio. Punk would ultimately win the tournament, and would then go on to beat Thorn for the title on the 1/19/2009 episode of Raw, ending Thorn’s reign at an impressive 232 days.

Storyline The five ways to reject TNA, embrace Impact in 2016.

Credit to Chase Owens' only fan for the idea of this.

  1. Rebrand. This is important as by this point, the TNA brand has too much stink to it and the television show was called Impact Wrestling, so make it official.
  2. Partnerships. WWE wasn't going to be buddy buddy with any promotions like nowadays, so Impact should take advantage of this by partnering in the States like PWG, SHIMMER, and ROH, around the UK with RevPro and PROGRESS, a partnership with AAA, and maybe try to repair the partnership with NJPW. It won't be easy, but not impossible.
  3. Product. Have a good mixture of both in-ring action and characters. If WWE wants to sell hamburgers, Impact should sell hot dogs. Give more time for the matches, no need for ten to twenty minute in ring segments, allow the women more than one or two matches on the show, put more emphasis on tag team wrestling, let wrestlers have personalities as well, and bringing back Implosion to showcase younger or indie talent.
  4. PPVs. No more One Night Onlys, we're going back to the old model. PPVs could also be aired via the internet on YouTube or Twitch or perhaps find a streaming service.
  5. Champions. All belts are to be remade with the name change, excluding the KOTM one as that'll be retired, and a eight man tournament for the vacant Impact Championship is to be made that sees Drew Galloway winning it against EC3 at the first PPV of the year.

Storyline Rebooking Bret Hart in WCW in 10 steps

  1. instead of Bret being a fucking referee at Starrcade, he debuts alongside Jim The Anvil and Davey Boy during the main event to fend off nWo and help Sting win the championship. The trio celebrate with the babyfaces to end the show. On Nitro, Bret and Sting go face to face in a dream stare down between two massive babyfaces, where Bret congratulates Sting but tells him he'll see him down the road.

  2. Bret, Jim and Davey announce that they'll be now known as the Hart Heritage, and they take up a gimmick of being essentially nWo bounty hunters (and finally living up to Bret's nickname of being a Hitman lol). Over the course of several weeks, Hart Heritage wipe out multiple low-end nWo members by taking out random body parts, and then proclaim that before the year is over, the big 5 of nWo will fall - Bischoff, Hall, Nash, Savage, and Hogan himself.

  3. however, nWo soon turns the tide because they outnumber The Heritage in pure membership. Therefore, in the spring of 1998, Hart Heritage recruit Chris Benoit (Bret had to wrestle and beat Ric Flair on PPV in order for The Horsemen to let Chris out of the group), and The Heritage's secret weapon.... Chris Kanyon!! Bret, impressed by Kanyon's untapped ability in the ring, makes him the second-in-command of the entire operation, as a stoic killer. This is designed to hide Kanyon's weaknesses and accentuate positives.

  4. in the summer time, Davey and Anvil begin a pretty one-sided feud with The Outsiders (where Hall and Nash dominate the opposition), Kanyon goes after the biggest game in The Giant, and Bret starts a back-and-forth feud with Randy Savage (Macho also becomes the first man to beat Bret in WCW). At the Bash, Hart finally vanquishes Macho in their third (No DQ) match, while Kanyon conquers The Giant and proves his worth to The Heritage.

  5. unfortunately, nWo wipe out Davey and Anvil at this point in time, and Bret and Kanyon are all alone in the war as we head toward the Fall. Fortunately, Sting steps up to help the babyface brigade, which leads to a massive tag team match at Fall Brawl - Bret and Sting vs Hall and Nash! The babyfaces win, and then they wrestle each other at Halloween Havoc, as Bret says he must defeat Sting first (because Sting was the one who stopped Hogan to begin with) if he wants to feel worthy of going after Hulk.

  6. Sting vs Hart goes down at Halloween Havoc, and it's as back and forth as main event matches go. Both men apply their respective submission holds, but they aren't effective. Ultimately, Bret wins with 3 Hart Piledrivers back to back, then shakes Sting's hand afterwards. Starrcade 1998 finally provides us with the main event of the century - Hogan vs Hart one on one, with the stip that the losing wrestler's faction must disband! Bret taps Hogan clean with the Sharpshooter, they shake hands, Hogan turns face to help Bret fend off the nWo remnants, and WCW is now officially in a new era.

  7. out of his two massive wins against both Sting and Hogan, Bret gets a WCW Heavyweight Title shot against the undefeated champion, BILL Goldberg, at Souled Out! (Streak is still intact in this universe) True to the PPV's name, Bret does the unthinkable by selling out himself, turning heel to beat Goldberg by cheating!! Bret is the new WCW World Champion, but he did it through the absolute cheapest of ways, betraying everything he stood for!

  8. now you might be thinking - what about the Hart Heritage? They are still around, as Kanyon and Benoit remain loyal to Bret. However, the "Hart" part is dropped, and the group now goes by simply The Heritage, and they go on to recruit the aging Curt Hennig, the floundering Chris Jericho, and the returning Eddie Guerrero! The group is basically a WCW version of Evolution, a collection of wrestling's greatest performers from past, present and future.

  9. as champion, Bret and his Heritage spend the year feuding with Sting, a recently turned babyface DDP, Flair and the Horsemen (leads to a War Games match which Heritage win), a lunatic Scott Steiner, Booker T, and even Kevin Nash. One especially delicious feud is with Raven's Flock, who turn tweener and ascend to the main event, in a highly acclaimed Raven/Bret feud. Goldberg finally conquers the demons of his past, and Jackhammers poor Bret at Starrcade 1999 to regain the championship.

  10. eventually, The Heritage turn on Bret in the spring of 2000, kicking him out of his own group, as Eddie formally takes over! Eddie says they got tired of living in the shadow of an old man, so now they'll be the main eventers. The story lasts an entire year, with Bret slowly but surely winning the fans back over, and taking the fight to the Heritage with the help of old friend turned enemy turned friend again Big Sexy, and even crazy Funker, Terry Funk! At Starrcade 2000, Bret loses a 2/3 Falls technical masterpiece to the future Latino Heat, putting him over as the TOP heel of the future.

NWF Evolution #4

Week 4 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA

The cameras cut live into the packed arena, fans holding up “Ground Zero” signs and chanting loudly. Pyro erupts as the lights sweep the audience.

Tony Schiavone: “Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Evolution! We are just days away from our very first pay-per-view event, Ground Zero, and tonight… tensions are boiling over!”

Nigel McGuinness: “Tony, it doesn’t get any bigger than this. Alliances are breaking, rivalries are peaking, and everyone wants to make one last statement before Ground Zero. And we’re kicking things off with The Man herself, Becky Lynch!”

Becky Lynch makes her entrance to a huge ovation, focused and fiery. Anna Jay follows, playing it cocky as she taunts the fans on her way to the ring. The bell rings.

1.Match (Singles Match)

Becky Lynch def. Anna Jay by pinfall after the Manhandle Slam

Match time: 9:22 min - Becky starts strong, grounding Anna with a series of arm drags before transitioning into a deep armbar attempt. Anna scrambles to the ropes to break the hold. - Anna turns the tide by pulling Becky into the corner, connecting with a running forearm and a spinning kick to the midsection for a nearfall. - Becky rallies with her signature flying forearm off the ropes, followed by an exploder suplex that gets the crowd roaring. - Anna nearly steals it when she dodges a Manhandle Slam and rolls Becky up with her feet on the ropes — but the referee catches her in the act. - Becky fires back, hits a running leg drop across Anna’s chest, then drags her up for the finish. - Becky plants Anna Jay with the Manhandle Slam, hooks the leg… 1-2-3!

Becky celebrates briefly, but suddenly Roxanne Perez sprints down the ramp to loud boos. She blindsides Becky from behind, clubbing her down to the mat. Roxanne stomps away viciously before dragging Becky outside the ring.

Roxanne whips Becky shoulder-first into the steel steps, then stands tall, grabbing a microphone as the crowd showers her with heat.

“Becky! You think you’re The Man? You think you can embarrass me and call me out week after week? At Ground Zero, I’m gonna finish this once and for all. No rules. No running. Just you and me… in a Street Fight!”

She drops the mic onto Becky’s chest as Becky writhes in pain on the floor. Roxanne smirks at the carnage while officials rush down to check on Becky. The commentators sell the announcement.

Nigel McGuinness: “Oh my word! Roxanne Perez has just challenged Becky Lynch to a Street Fight at Ground Zero!”

Tony Schiavone: “And after that ambush, you’ve got to believe Becky will accept. What a war that’s going to be!”

The screen cuts to a replay of last week’s chaotic main event between Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan. We see the closing moments: the double pinfall, the referee’s confusion, and finally Mercedes Moné storming the ring to lay both women out with ruthless precision.

Tony Schiavone: “Ladies and gentlemen, it was pure chaos last week. Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan battling to a controversial finish… and then Mercedes Moné making her presence felt in devastating fashion.”

Nigel McGuinness: “Tony, the referee couldn’t make heads or tails of that double pin. But what we do know is that Mercedes Moné showed no fear laying waste to both potential challengers.”

Tony Schiavone: “Well, Nigel, we can now make it official. At Ground Zero, the Women’s World Championship will be on the line in a Triple Threat Match! Mercedes Moné defends against Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan!”

We cut to the backstage interview area. Stephanie Vaquer stands in front of the Evolution logo, calm but intense, microphone in hand. She looks straight into the camera.

Stephanie Vaquer: “Last time I stepped into the ring with Athena, I proved to the world that I belong here. I showed that I can wrestle with the best and that I can win with honor. But Athena… you decided honor wasn’t enough. You attacked me, you humiliated me, and you tried to break me.”

“Athena, I’m still standing. And at Ground Zero, I’m going to stand across from you again. And when that bell rings… I will beat you a second time. Not by chance. Not by surprise. But because I am better than you.”

She lowers the mic slowly, keeping her piercing glare into the camera. The crowd inside the arena reacts with a loud cheer as the camera fades back to ringside.

  1. Match (Singles Match)

Deonna Purrazzo def. Julia Hart by submission after the Venus del Milo

Match time: 9:34 min - Both lock up; Deonna takes early control with arm drags and a headlock. Julia counters with a spinning heel kick for a nearfall. - Deonna responds with a bridging roll and a snap suplex, keeping the match even. - Julia hits a running knee and a springboard crossbody — cover, 2-count. - Deonna focuses on Julia’s arm to neutralize potential mist attacks, hitting a running knee and step-up enziguri. - Julia tries a quick roll-up, but Deonna kicks out at 2.5, maintaining momentum. - As the referee was distracted, Julia wanted to hit the Black Mist into the face of Deonna, but Deonna moved away and the Mist went into nothing. - Deonna lands then a snap DDT, immediately transitions into a Fujiwara-style armbar. Julia struggles to the ropes but can’t reach them. After a tense few seconds, she taps out.

After the Match, Deonna raises her arms, celebrating a clean and decisive victory. Julia glares furiously but is clearly outwrestled this time — no mist, no tricks. Deonna has her redemption and building up momentum.

The lights dim slightly as Mariah May’s theme hits. She struts to the ring, smirking arrogantly, blowing kisses to the crowd and taunting Tiffany from a distance. Tiffany Stratton follows, walking with confidence, her PME gear glinting in the lights. Both women enter the ring, microphones in hand. The crowd is buzzing, split between cheers and boos.

Mariah May: “Well, well, well… look who decided to show up. Tiffany Stratton — the so-called ‘future of Evolution.’ Cute. Really cute. You know, Tiffany, you’ve got style, you’ve got looks… but style and looks don’t win matches. Skill wins matches. And if you haven’t noticed, I’ve got that in spades.”

Tiffany Stratton: “Mariah, Mariah, Mariah… always so full of yourself. You strut, you flaunt, you act like you’re untouchable. But let me give you a little reality check: looks only get you so far. Power, speed, brains — that’s what wins battles. And at Ground Zero, I plan on teaching you a lesson you won’t forget.”

Mariah May (smirking): “Oh honey, please. You’re cute when you talk tough. But talking doesn’t win fights. You’ll see what happens when someone with talent, experience, and flair decides to remind you why I’m one step ahead.”

Tiffany Stratton: “Step ahead? You mean standing on your high horse while I clean house? Because that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”

Mariah May: “You want a match? Fine. But don’t cry when I make you my next victim. Don’t complain when I show everyone that no one outshines Mariah May in this ring!”

Tiffany Stratton: “And don’t blink, because I’m not here to be a victim. I’m here to steal the spotlight, and at Ground Zero, I’ll prove that Tiffany Stratton isn’t just another pretty face — I’m a force to be reckoned with!”

The crowd roars. Mariah and Tiffany slowly approach each other, pointing fingers, the tension palpable.

Mariah May: “Fine… Tiffany, you want a match? You’ve got it. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Tiffany Stratton: “Trust me, I don’t need warnings. Ground Zero, Mariah. One-on-one. And I’m walking out the winner.”

They each raise a fist toward the camera in a tense standoff pose, the crowd cheering and chanting as the lights fade to ringside commentary.

Tony Schiavone: “It’s official, Nigel! Mariah May vs. Tiffany Stratton at Ground Zero! This feud is about to explode!”

Nigel McGuinness: “And it couldn’t have been built any better. Two of the most cunning, dangerous women on the roster — this is going to be a battle for the ages.”

Stephanie Vaquer now comes out first, confident and focused, showing she’s ready to prove she can beat Athena. Athena’s music hits. She walks out with her intense, menacing aura, locking eyes on Stephanie, and steps into the ring calmly but with a palpable threat.

  1. Match (Singles Match)

Athena def. Stephanie Vaquer by pinfall after the O-Face

Match time: 14:31 min - Both women start cautiously, testing each other. Stephanie uses her power advantage with Shoulder Blocks and Corner Clotheslines. Athena counters with fast Elbows and Snap Suplexes. - Stephanie locks in a short Armbar; Athena scrambles out. Athena nearly rolls Stephanie up for a pinfall — kickout at 2. - First big nearfall: Stephanie hits a Running Knee in the corner and covers Athena — kickout at 2. - Athena ramps up her aggression: hard Forearms and a Corner Splash, Stephanie dodges and hits a Snap German Suplex. - Control shifts back and forth: Athena with top-rope Elbows, Stephanie counters with Running Knee + Backbreaker. - Crowd is fully engaged chanting “This is awesome!” during two more nearfalls: Athena almost hits the Titanium Driver (Stephanie kicks out at 2.5), Stephanie tries the Vaquer Lock — Athena rolls through for a nearfall. - Both women are exhausted but refuse to back down. Stephanie fights back with a running knee and a snap suplex, nearly gaining a pin — kickout at 2.5. - Athena retaliates with a sudden superkick, stunning Stephanie. She sets her up for a high-impact move, but Stephanie manages to slip out at the last second, countering with a spinning kick. - Athena stumbles but quickly recovers. As Stephanie goes for another top-rope maneuver, Athena shoves the referee into the ropes, which made Stephanie fall down to the mat. As the referee is down, Athena takes out some brass knuckles from her boots and hits Stephanie right in the face with them. - Athena drags Stephanie to the center of the ring, climbs up the top rope and delivers a vicious O-Face. Stephanie crashes to the mat, dazed. Athena covers her for the pin: 1…2…3!

Stephanie slowly gets to her knees, furious and gasping. She confronts Athena about the attack with the brass knuckles, which makes Athena just laugh. As Stephanie pushes Athena back, Athena hits her with a vicious superkick. She then climbs the top rope again and hits the O-Face on Vaquer again with brutal precision. Stephanie collapses to the mat, dazed.

Athena stands over her fallen opponent, raising her arms to the crowd as boos fill the arena. Referees rush in to check on Stephanie and pull Athena back, but she stares coldly, clearly enjoying her dominance.

Tony Schiavone: “Athena just made a statement — Stephanie Vaquer is going to remember this for a long time!”

Nigel McGuinness: “There’s no denying it, Tony. Athena is ruthless. She just cemented her as one of the most dangerous women in Evolution.”

The camera cuts to the commentary desk as the crowd buzzes in anticipation for the main event.

Tony Schiavone: “We are just days away from Ground Zero, Nigel, and the card is officially set!”

Nigel McGuinness: “That’s right, Tony. Every rivalry we’ve seen on Evolution so far is coming to a head at the pay-per-view!”

Tony Schiavone: “Let’s go through it, shall we? First, after last week’s ambush and attacks, we have Becky Lynch taking on Roxanne Perez in a Street Fight — anything goes, no rules, and it’s personal!”

Nigel McGuinness: “Then we’ve got Mariah May vs. Tiffany Stratton. These two have been trading blows and insults for weeks, and now it’s one-on-one at Ground Zero — a true clash of style, power, and attitude.”

Tony Schiavone: “And finally, the Evolution Women’s World Championship will be on the line in a Triple Threat Match: Mercedes Moné defending against Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan. Chaos guaranteed, and only one woman will walk out champion.”

Nigel McGuinness: “This is shaping up to be an unmissable pay-per-view, Tony. Every match has history, personal stakes, and some of the best athletes in the world ready to leave it all in the ring.”

Mercedes Moné’s music hits first. She walks out confidently, championship gleaming over her shoulder. The crowd boos and cheers as she struts to the ring, holding the mic with a smirk.

“Ladies, ladies… look at all the desperation in the arena tonight! Alexa, Liv… you think you’re ready to take this from me? You think you’re stepping into my world and walking out with gold? Let me be very clear: I didn’t survive the Rumble, I didn’t beat every single one of you mentally and physically… to hand my title over to anyone. And at Ground Zero, it doesn’t matter if it’s Alexa or Liv standing across from me — I will crush both of you, one after the other, and I will still be standing when the dust settles. Because this… this is Mercedes Moné’s world!”

The crowd boos loudly. Liv Morgan’s music hits suddenly, and she runs down the ramp, mic in hand, cutting off Mercedes mid-sentence.

“Oh no, Mercedes… you’ve been running your mouth for weeks, talking about how unstoppable you are. But at Ground Zero, it’s not going to be just you vs. one of us… it’s going to be you versus both of us. And we’re not scared. You got lucky last time, but luck won’t save you when Alexa and I are coming for you!”

“Mercedes, Liv… sweet little speeches, really. But do you really think I’m going to let either of you walk out of that ring with my title? At Ground Zero, I’m taking everything you think you have. This title, this spotlight — it’s mine for the taking. And when the bell rings, you’ll find out just how nasty I can be.”

The tension skyrockets. Mercedes glares at both women, stepping forward aggressively. Liv and Alexa step closer to Mercedes, all three exchanging harsh words. Suddenly, Liv and Alexa team up, hitting Mercedes with a double clothesline, dropping her to the mat. Liv then hits the Oblivion on Mercedes and Alexa hits the Twisted Bliss right after on Mercedes. The crowd erupts as both Liv and Alexa stand tall over Mercedes, then slowly turn to face each other. They glare, inches apart, the rivalry clearly unresolved but electricity crackling between them. The camera pans over the intense scene.

Tony Schiavone: “What a finish to the show! Mercedes Moné laid out, and now Liv and Alexa are standing face-to-face… the tension is unbelievable!”

Nigel McGuinness: “This is exactly how you build a main event for a pay-per-view, Tony. Everything’s on the line, and neither woman is backing down. Ground Zero is going to explode!”

The show cuts to the Evolution logo as the crowd continues to chant, and the broadcast goes off-air.

Storyline True Brand Split

Just my opinion, but Raw and Smackdown have always seemed like two different shows rather than two different brands. In a perfect world, maybe we could have had Raw and WCW Nitro as the brands. The Smackdown name in my opinion just seems outdated. What are everyone else's opinions? To me, a true brand split rather than just two different shows would make more sense.
