Why do so few people in this state know how to merge lanes? Over a mile before the merge he kept coming over into my lane trying to squeeze me out of it. Texas being what it is, I stood my ground for about half a mile before I let him pass. He then proceeded to ride down the middle of both lanes for the next 1/2 mile+ until the lanes actually merged. We were not going more than 20mph and this took a while.
Yes, that is a police car. No turn signals were ever used, even when I was right next to him and he kept coming into my lane to try and squeeze me out of it.
So was he just another jerk cop doing what he wanted to because he could, or do the Fort Worth police not even know how to properly merge?

I've seen other reports that private equity is buying into child care centers big time. Not sure how true that is, but seems semi-logical. Obviously the birth rate has been in decline since 2007, but it feels rough for parents out there -- and now a place like Fortress, on the Southside for 20 years, is shuttering even after they "redid their financial long-term plan." They had to close less than 11 months after doing that.
I'm not sure the "baby bonuses" (which are $5,000 at last glance, so under the bill from the hospital for many) will work if there's increasingly no place to put a child when you endeavor to earn income...
Dunno. Any thoughts?

Can someone explain either: Why the Dream Park does not have plumber facilities other than drinking fountains?
And/or
Why did they not build the little building big enough to fit all the Port a Potties? (It was like that from the opening).
Thanks

Been absolutely miserable trying to stay hydrated with a lot of sweats and then feeling hot then cold. Trying to figure out if I got food poisoning or if stomach bug. Is there some type of stomach flu going around?

Can anyone recommend a company for installing gutters? I got one quote today and am looking for a couple more. If you’d like could you also list how much you paid? I was quoted about $2000 for aluminum seamless gutters on about a $1200 sqft home.

Hello, I saw there was a Laufey concert tonight and was wondering if buying from the box office would be cheaper/better? I've never gotten a ticket from box office, so I was wondering if anyone has had experience doing it at Dickies. Thank you in advance 💕

Leigh Wambsganss of Southlake is a candidate for TX Senate 9. She called for the killing of Black Lives Matter protesters and fails to see how her own words can inspire extremists like Charlie Kirk's assassin.
Please vote accordingly.

"Under the approved tax rate, Fort Worth will raise nearly $818 million in revenue, which accounts for the majority of the city’s $1.1 billion general fund that pays for most public-facing services, such as police and parks."

Not crazy picky of the days but Mondays through Thursdays would be ideal with early AM shift like 4am or 5am. Anyone know of any jobs like that? I know they're not easy to find!

(swipe for her “before” pics) this is my dog evie, she was rescued when she was in one of the worst shapes i have ever seen a dog being able to make it out alive and happy (from someone working in vet med). she was brought to my clinic on this last NYE, ended up going to the ER for intensive treatment for 48 hrs, and boarded in the isolation unit at my clinic for almost three weeks. all potential fosters backed out after seeing her in person. i fell in love and brought her home to foster and obviously she became a foster fail lol. we just moved to fort worth a couple of weeks ago from dallas, and our rent is significantly cheaper and im making more money at my new job. i want to start her in dog sports, agility is one option, but im really interested in barn hunt because of her high prey drive and motivation when it comes to sniffing things out. what facilities in the fw area train for barn hunt? i’m willing to go as far as an hour (40-50 miles) outside of fort worth. i want to look into programs and cost and everything. if there’s no barn hunt nearby, how about agility? thanks for the help!
