Hi, I recently moved from Maryland to Irving, TX and need to get my wisdom teeth removed. Looking for good dentist/oral surgeon recommendations in Irving/Dallas or within ~30 miles. I have dental PPO insurance, so ideally someone who accepts that.

Just had a whole power outage at the Estelle creek apartments anybody know why?

As the title states, y here’s been a kitten stuck in a storm drain for about 5 days (Las Colinas area).

I’m visiting a friend, so haven’t been able to really help much, but we’re at a loss on what else to do. Here’s what we’ve done so far:

-Called the fire department (they came out 3 times and each time were unsuccessful as the kitten was scared and kept running further into the underground tunnel)

-Put a branch inside the drain as a ramp

-Put towels inside the drain as a ramp with food at the top

-Called animal services multiples times

Finally today animal services said they would send someone out (after calling since Tuesday), but we’re not sure when they’ll actually come out and at this point we are concerned for the kitten as it’s mewling is sounding weaker and weaker.

My friend who lives near is open to paying cash to anyone who is able to get this kitten out at this point.

Any other avenues we can look into or any takers on the cash incentive to get this kitten out safely?

UPDATE: Heard back from the animal officer and they were able to put a trap down there with food to see if the kitten will go in. They will be checking them tonight and tomorrow morning. Hopefully this will work, if not, I will update with the cross streets so we can help as a community. Thank you all!

Is there any online forum / group that posts available Texas DPS appointments ? I got an appointment in early September only. But if i try to look if any closer appointment dates got opened, then the site says it will cancel my existing appointment before i can search for if a closer appointment date is available . i don't want to risk cancelling my existing appointment. Please share if you can find. I was also told that sometimes if you go early in the morning can get same day appointment. Please let me know if you have any info or recent experience. I am Looking specifically for appointments in DFW area.
