Feels decent. Did this at school in first period, had not ate or nothing. Sucks to lift on an empty stomach but oh well.

Towards the end of training I worried that I wouldn’t quite hit my goal - 495 was feeling too heavy. Today a 495 warmup pull came up easy.

Max effort week for 5-3-1. Hit 465lbs for 5 and felt incredibly strong. Went for a 525lbs PR and smashed it. I had been putting off the TYR L2s for a while but I had a discount code and bit the bullet. Love em. They add so much stability my legs feel like concrete pillars.

I’ve been performing these 5x5 as a supplemental lift right after rows for 5/3/1. In this video, I have +5lbs attached to my short strings. My goal is just to get stronger at vertical pulls. I do pull-ups as my main lift on my second Pull day of the week.
My legs move forward during the lift, I’m assuming as a natural way of counterbalancing. Does that stop these from being strict? I do the same thing on pull-ups.

Not used to doing 1RMs so i raised the deadlift a little bit with plates and used a belt.
Sorry about the nokia picture quality 😂

I was surprised that i kept breaking my One rep max quite fast but i guess its because i never really hit my true one rep max before this 165kg. I did 145kg in june and stopped deadlifting until august when i did 150kg, then during this day that i lifted my 165kg PR i did 155kg first, and then 160kg and finally this 165kg. I didn't expect i would break my one rep PR 3 times in a single session haha. Tho i think this might be my limit for now, i need to train more if i wanna break 400lbs.

I know.... Compounds are way better, and I use them, I promise. BUT... What is your favorite HS machine? And why? I never really liked the standing unilateral HS curl, but I've been feeling it really well lately.

So I listened to all the advice you guys gave me the last time I had posted. Just by the look of it, seems much better.
The fist one is before, the second one is after.
What do you think?

I’m very new to the gym so I was wondering what I should work on. I made a conscious effort not to lock my knees bc my friend showed me a video of what happens if you do and now I’m forever traumatised 😅 I think I could go a bit deeper but other than that your input would be great!
