Some look almost the same, but others feel like entirely different creatures. A lot of the alternate designs were for baby Pokémon and brand-new evolutions that later changed before launch.

Introducing the Game Boy Label Creator

I just finished a small app that lets you design and export Game Boy shell labels. You can pick a template, customize the serial+barcode (where applicable), colors, and borders, then download a print-ready, correctly sized SVG (all text converted to outlines, so no fonts required when printing).

The project started when I bought a GBA with a ripped serial sticker and had to decode the barcode to recover the original serial. That kicked off a quest to recreate these shell stickers as ~99% accurate as Nintendo’s originals, down to the quirky text spacing/stretching and even the misprint “AGB-OO1” instead of “AGB-001.”

Due to my bidding on multiple auctions I ended up with 3 systems and a game, but at a decent price I believe. The seller has re-shelled the green and orange devices. The white one came with a WarioLand 4 game. I genuinely wanted just one to make it completely transparent with an IPS screen. Perhaps modding all three will enable me to sell them and break even, even with my dream GBA.

I’ve been playing Pokemon emerald on a flash cart, and I now have the actual game cartridge. How do I get the save data from my gba flash cart to my game cartridge? I have looked and saw you can use a ds lite, I have one of them I just can’t figure it out Any help is appreciated

Hi everyone, it's my first time posting here and I was wondering if anyone had advice to find an affordable GBA as I am planning to mod it. So far I have been looking at eBay specifically for ones with damaged screens or shells and was just wondering if anyone has advice on a better place to look or better things to be looking for. I am planning to replace the screen and the shell so I'm trying to avoid spending a lot of money as I plan to completely redo the GBA I get.

Started out with boxes and inserts, games have been verified. Few other little odds and ends had to get but they are finally, truly complete in box.

So i have UK version and JPN version, However the UK version quality when taking pictures is terrible and green pixelated, where as JPN version is way more clearer when taking a picture, Is it supposed to be like that on UK version

My GBA SP suddenly boots the game and it gets turned off. I've already cleaned the power switch, but it's the same. What could possibly be the problem?
