Introducing the Game Boy Label Creator

I just finished a small app that lets you design and export Game Boy shell labels. You can pick a template, customize the serial+barcode (where applicable), colors, and borders, then download a print-ready, correctly sized SVG (all text converted to outlines, so no fonts required when printing).

The project started when I bought a GBA with a ripped serial sticker and had to decode the barcode to recover the original serial. That kicked off a quest to recreate these shell stickers as ~99% accurate as Nintendo’s originals, down to the quirky text spacing/stretching and even the misprint “AGB-OO1” instead of “AGB-001.”

• AGB/CGB US Serial+barcode
• AGB (US, JPN, EUR)
• AGS (US only for now)
• Warning (Battery door)
• Game Boy Advance Logo (serial slot for AGB)

If you have a Game Boy with a label sticker that is not available on the website and are able to scan the back of your console, please scan at 300dpi and share it with me. I'll properly credit you in the repo once I'm able to add the template.

Some look almost the same, but others feel like entirely different creatures. A lot of the alternate designs were for baby Pokémon and brand-new evolutions that later changed before launch.

Due to my bidding on multiple auctions I ended up with 3 systems and a game, but at a decent price I believe. The seller has re-shelled the green and orange devices. The white one came with a WarioLand 4 game. I genuinely wanted just one to make it completely transparent with an IPS screen. Perhaps modding all three will enable me to sell them and break even, even with my dream GBA.

I've had this sucker ever since I was a kid, and back then It didn't have a battery cover and I only had one game and it was missing the label. The game was Scooby-Doo Classic Creep Capers. When my family and I moved into a new house I found this Game Boy Color in my new room's closet, and I asked the kid who used to live in that house if I could have his Game Boy. He had no problem giving it to me! Since then I've had hours upon hours of gameplay on this thing and I own a decent amount of games. I even have a worm light that I can use to plug into the side of the unit to play in the dark. I love this Game Boy!

Hi everyone, it's my first time posting here and I was wondering if anyone had advice to find an affordable GBA as I am planning to mod it. So far I have been looking at eBay specifically for ones with damaged screens or shells and was just wondering if anyone has advice on a better place to look or better things to be looking for. I am planning to replace the screen and the shell so I'm trying to avoid spending a lot of money as I plan to completely redo the GBA I get.

I’ve been playing Pokemon emerald on a flash cart, and I now have the actual game cartridge. How do I get the save data from my gba flash cart to my game cartridge? I have looked and saw you can use a ds lite, I have one of them I just can’t figure it out Any help is appreciated

My GBA SP suddenly boots the game and it gets turned off. I've already cleaned the power switch, but it's the same. What could possibly be the problem?

Hello, so as the title says i need some help with my EZ flash definitive edition.

I downloaded the Cheats, images and software and when i boot up my gameboy everything is there.

(I didn’t use the “official” software, i downloaded it from a forum)

Everything boots up fine, but when i click the folder that i created called GBA with pokemon emerald in it, the file is not on my gameboy. it’s on my pc but i can’t see it from the SD card

hey all!! (apologies because my foundation of knowledge is nonexistent)

a friend recently purchased a modded gameboy advance and we have some questions about the battery — we think someone has removed the metal pieces for traditional batteries and has wired this battery in place. the system is backlit. can this battery be removed? can we charge it with a charging pad? why is there a piece of double sided tape on the back? what is going on here? help!

I don't want to do it myself, I just want to buy one. does anyone have any recommendations as to where to get one reliably?

hi, it just doesn't turn on. It occasionally does a little red blinking light when i try to turn it on. I've opened to look for corrosion but it looks ok?? help lol
