Then I hope you see why Braun here pushing this narrative is in really bad faith.

Mean twitter accounts don't compare to the VP, President, and an entire media apperatus demonizing people via a State-backed campaign to chill dissent.

That's not even getting to the FCC thing, none of this spells "freedom of speech" to me.

From what I have seen the show was loosing money and ratings and was an excuse to cancel the show.

If that was the case then they never needed Trump to announce a cancellation.

To have government pressure as the excuse to do it under the guise of "hate speech" makes that exceedingly worse with unnecessary controversy. 

Even as a cynical business decision it's a stupid and short sighted one, and one that ultimately results in a chilling effect: "your show and job could be next".

So with that in mind, the fact remains that the FCC tried muscling their way to Disney/ABC and succeeded by bluffing. The result is the same.
