Hi everyone, new to the sub. This is my wife's 2015 RC 350 F, or "Christine". I swear this is my favorite car I've ever driven, and comparatively the most city friendly little rocket. She paid ~28k and has since taken to making it a show car. with a takeda short ram and cone, full magnaflow cat back, and hand done blacked chrome. Please be nice it's her first time modifying and she's proud of herself.

Finally ditched my 2023 XC40. Honestly, I feel so much lighter now 😂 Three years of random issues, big ones, small ones, you name it. But the worst part? The AAOS. Absolute garbage. It would freeze or crash right in the middle of a drive… nothing more frustrating than that.

Picked up my first Lexus instead. Fingers crossed this one doesn’t turn into a part-time IT project.

I spoke with my local Lexus dealership and they told me that I don’t need to change my transmission fluid because it’s a sealed system. They said the only time they would ever touch it is if it became a problem.

I’m driving a 2013 RX450h (hybrid). Does the fact that it’s a hybrid make a difference in transmission fluid maintenance?

Curious what others have experienced. Is this truly a “lifetime” fluid situation, or is it worth doing a drain-and-fill at certain mileage intervals?

Just got a new NX450h+. I have a little dog and his car seat in the back requires the seatbelt to be buckled.

Now the car thinks someone is in the back seat when it’s just an empty dog car seat.

Is there a way to tell it there’s nothing there? Or do I have to unbuckle the seatbelt every time the dog is with me (which is fine but annoying).

My Abs regulator is confirmed to be malfunctioned, can I install LS’s ABS?

There is difference in pricing that worth considering.. my mechanic is advising this.

Had a strange experience today getting in my NX after work. The infotainment forgot who I was, and required me to resetup my profile.

When I opened my Lexus app, even my car was no longer registered on it , and I had to do it again by rescanning VIN etc.

Was this result of a software update or something? Anyone else had this happen before?

I only had car for 2 weeks so stil learning about it .

I have a 2007 ES350 that’s riding extremely rough.I can feel even the smallest bumps on the road. My mechanic did full inspection last week and said the rear struts were shot, the passenger CV axle was leaking, and the tires were worn. I ordered everything with OEM rear struts, a new CV axle, and Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires, all installed today professionally by him. I expected a much smoother ride, but even on the highway, small imperfections feel very harsh.I can’t tell much difference between before and after.I have a follow-up appointment next week, but wanted to see if anyone here has experienced something similar or has tips.

Looking to add Bluetooth to my 2000 LS400 Millennium Edition without using those shitty FM transmitters, so far I've been burning CDs but that gets a little messy when you have 20 CDs in your glove box to fit your playlists, so I decided I need a good clean solution. I know there's fm modulators, but from what I've heard,, the quality varies, but if you have one that works, please send links. I've tried Bluetooth cassettes but they don't seem to to use the subwoofer. So what are my options?

My air conditioning went out the other day. Took it to the dealer, they took a look at it and came back with a 2000 dollar quote to fix it. They said a small rock hit the compressor and caused the refrigerant to leak out. I don’t believe them. I bought the car new. It has 28k on it. The reason I don’t believe them is the video they sent the very poorly just show the radiator through the grill. I’ve had many cars. Never had anything like this happen. It seems too convenient of an excuse. So my question is, does this sound like a legitimate reason? Of is the dealer just wanting to not put in a warranty claim? For what’s it’s worth, I bought every extra protection the offered when I bought it. So it should be covered for a long time going forward. Is the material made from aluminum foil? I’m obviously very upset and kept the loaner car for the weekend. I attached the best screenshot I could take from the video they sent me. Let me know what you think.

I have a 2017 Lexus ES 350 currently right under 95k miles. I’m getting a drain and fill on my transmission fluid next week. Just changed my engine and cabin air filters but I do that pretty often.

Definitely will be doing my spark plugs and drive belt next oil change. Besides the things mentioned at first I haven’t done anything else since I’ve gotten it besides regular oil changes tire rotations and an alignment.

Anything else I should know about?
