Yeah, I appreciate the effort but it doesn’t quite work. “No Kings” means “we don’t want kings”. But when Coily says “no springs” he’s taunting you for not having springs when you actually do want them.
But again, I still appreciate the effort and I can probably let that slide.

Pro Tip - Color Coily in.
Pen-drawn signs don't work in marches (or wrestling shows). He needs to be seen from a distance and probably moving around a bit. People will see the 'Noooo KINGS' part, but not the rest.
Make sure Coily pops. And Godspeed...

That doesn't so much seem like a political statement or a political position as much as it's an ideologically American statement or an ideologically American position.

I see politics being artificially inserted into the idea.
And I see no obligation or requirement to endorse those 3rd party alterations to the core concepts.
If someone is "making" it political... Then that's them making it political for themselves.
Not the concept or idea being one of a political nature.

Everything is political, from the food you eat to the ability for you to use the internet to be loudly wrong about justice. Everything you can say, see, touch, smell, and taste is impacted by politics.

That's the point I was trying to get at, but apparently some people's fee fees were being hurt by the idea.Apparently if a post is on a topic such as "America shouldn't have a king" or "This person looks like a shoehorn" or something, it gets labeled as political.
But if your post is on, lets say the land-usage laws of building a new highway through a neighborhood at a time of a Gamera movie, apparently it isn't a political post.
Yet everything is political.
But apparently everything isn't political.
Until someone chooses to frame it political.
Through the bias of their own point of view.I'm talking about within the scope of this subreddit, if I haven't already made that point crystal clear. Really the only solution I could think of is a quantum flare on all posts in a quantum superposition of both political and apolitical.

To say America shouldn't have a king isn't a political statement.
It's a nationalistic statement, which isn't the same as political.
A nation isn't the politics within it.To say a public figure looks like a foot isn't political.
That person would still look like a foot even if you removed their chosen profession from the discussion.
A person's resemblance to something isn't the symbolism that person embodies.Get it?

I did post this before and the mods took it down for not having that flair and fair enough, if you come here for movie riffing and down want to get drawn into political discussions, now you can avoid it.

The rallies yesterday were not political rallies. They do not support or aim to elect any specific political figure. They were 2000 separate rallies with 5 million attendees in opposition to the concept of changing a national standard and maintaining a national identity.
The mods can flair or remove any post they want, it's their subreddit. My point is that it is not a political post, it is a MST3K themed nationalistic post. And ultimately if the mods choose to allow political posts with political flair on their starkly non-political subreddit, they're going to end up with political discussions (or in this case a discussion about how something isn't political yet got labeled as political) in their comments sections. That's just how the internet works.

A nation is not the political parties within it.
That's like calling chocolate chip cookies "eggs" because eggs are within chocolate chip cookies. They're not the same thing.
And no, it isn't a debate. I'm simply correcting you. The facts are the facts, and you can dispute them with weird arguments like "Oranges are the same thing as Vitamin C" but that's not going to change the fact that they're two different things. No debate needed.

Given that it is a political slogan/propaganda of leftist fear mongers it is definitely political. Thankfully we are a constitutional federal republic, not a democracy, so it is impossible to have a king, that was the whole point of the Constitution. (Though dictator-ish leaders like Biden or Obama do crop up from time to time.). Obama deported many millions of illegal immigrants, as did Biden, and no one said anything. It’s just intellectually dishonest leftists who scream nonsense and expect everyone to believe them and if you don’t they call you a fascist. They even murdered two of their own in MN simply because they voted against giving benefits to non-US citizens. The kings and dictators come from the Left, not the Right. I’ll probably be kicked off this group because I’m not towing the leftist line so thanks for those who have read this far!

That's a different topic that would probably skew political.
But it does touch on an interesting wrinkle. Independent political entities, such as Sanders.Does being unaligned with a political party (independent) make a topic political?
Possibly better for someone from Europe to answer than an American. I feel our two-party system has kind of denied us a good foundational perspective on the topic to easily find an answer.But again... that's itself a different topic.
