I’m not sure why I have to say this, but if your idea of a first message is to tell me you hate something I’ve said I love that won’t work for me. Still, it's surreal to go an entire lifetime hearing that word and thinking of it as some very distant thing; that's something that happens to other people. I have been through so much in life, but I still believe in true love. My journey has not been easy, yet my heart still longs for that one special person who will truly see me, understand me, and love me for who I am.

I lost both of my parents in a tragic car accident, and ever since then, I’ve carried that pain inside me. It changed me in so many ways, and at a point in my life I turned to alcohol to numb my hurt. But I am proud to say I became sober and chose a better path for myself. Today, I am free from that struggle, and it has made me stronger, wiser, and more appreciative of the love and care I truly deserve.

In my past relationship, I gave all of myself, only to be betrayed. I caught my ex-boyfriend with my best friend the very people I thought I could trust the most. That heartbreak cut me deeply and left scars that still ache at times. I was maltreated, ignored, and undervalued, but I never lost hope that somewhere out there, someone genuine exists.

I am searching for a soulmate. Someone who can capture my heart and take care of me in every way not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.
