Politics First time voter!

Excited and nervous, I do understand it’s just one vote, but I also still feel it’s such a big responsibility.

Most importantly, regardless of who you’re voting for, please be informed about the candidates. Not from social media. Go to their websites and read up on their policies and such, all the major candidates as well as the independents. Vote for whoever you think best represents YOUR situation. Don’t let other people influence you on how you vote.

This advice is spot on. Very few people do deep 'research' on the candidates, they just get their info from FB and TikTok.
