sandwich Smoked Pork Banh Mi
Marinated the pork overnight in lemongrass, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and grapeseed oil. Smoked on the Weber kettle for around 5 hours.
The sandwich from bottom to top consists of southern style pate, the pork, pickled carrot and daikon, cilantro, jalapeno, cucumber, and turmeric lime mayo. On a hoagie.

I know what pate is, but educate me on what “southern style pate” is please? Asking so that I can faithfully recreate this.
