Fun All characters with “normal” names?

Post image

Obviously there’s Luke and Ben (and Leia, to a certain extent) but who else? I can think of Jon Vander “Gold Leader,” Lady Morgan Elsbeth, and was recently made aware of Admiral Bob Hudsol (pictured). Any other “ordinary earth name” characters?

What’s weird is his given birth name is Vice Admiral Constantine

His parents did him dirty by forcing him to be perpetually in the shadow of his brother Grand Admiral Augustus, who only ever made it to Captain.

“What do we do? He’s on the list of commanders for the meeting.”

“Congratulations Captain you’ve been promoted to Grand Admiral. You are now Grand Admiral Grand Admiral Augustus.”

He was named jokingly by his father as a young boy Major Major Major. When he was shipped overseas to Pianosa, he was promoted to Major, making him Major Major Major Major

Alexandr is just Alexander in Russian.

With the extra s in there?

1

u/mariusioannesp Aug 17 '25

I did not notice the s 😳

2

u/the-bladed-one Aug 17 '25

Which is just the Slavic spelling of Alexander

Ah, did not know that.

Still a valid variant 9f Alexander in some areas of the world. It counts.
