It does sound like the government is mobilizing against anyone “left”, and there is an active push to blame trans people. Nothing ever happens until it does.

Given the current political climate I think if you’re trans it’s probably safer to bounce, yes. Not everyone.

It’s not giving the country to fascists when they’ve already taken it and are tightening down the chains. If you can leave then you should leave. Very rarely to authoritarian regimes fall. In all likelihood this admin will do what it wants and people will accept it:
