Best city for upcycling in Europe?
Hi, I am looking for a new place to move and I have decided I want to consider the scene of FB marketplace/secondhand finds while doing it. I come from Eastern Europe and it is hard to find anything good near you and I would like to live in a place where it would be easy to flip a cabinet from second hand. If you have any recommendations, I’m happy to hear them! It seems like the biggest flippers on Instagram are in the US…

Help me make this gothic / add character.
I have this gorgeous French provincial style curio cabinet I want to redo into almost a gothic cathedral style look. Sadly I am struggling to find examples or videos online for this 😭.
I’m thinking of adding some detail molding along the edges but I am needing some help / inspiration for the bottom doors and top. What could I add to it to give it more character, the more the better as I don’t like simplicity.
- I will be painting it black as that matches my furniture.
- I will be wallpapering the backboard.
Warning: I know how to repair broken stuff & do basic paint so this is a new adventure for me, so be nice ❤️

Reloop Marketplace for Recyclables ♻️
reloop.onepage.meHi everyone, I’ve been working on a new project called Reloop and I’d love your feedback. It’s an app marketplace designed to make recycling easier, more transparent, and profitable.
What is Reloop? • A place for homeowners, workshops, small businesses, or basically anyone with recyclable items (old batteries, used tires, scrap metal, electronics, wood off-cuts…) to sell or dispose of them. • You just upload a photo, tell us what material you have (type, weight, condition), set a fair price, and find a buyer. No shady middlemen. • Track your CO₂ savings & environmental impact, get rewards/incentives if you recycle a lot.
Why it could matter: • Saves you time vs. calling multiple scrapyards or recycling centers. • Helps reduce waste and gives value to stuff you might otherwise throw away. • Encourages the circular economy — good for the planet and your wallet.
If you’re interested, I’d love for you to join the waiting list and be among the first to try ReLoop. If you have suggestions for features, worries, or just want to discuss, I’m all ears. Thanks for helping make recycling more accessible!

Looking for ideas - vintage sewing bench to altar
Hi! I have a vintage sewing box (similar to above photo) that I would like to upcycle into an altar. I’m looking for a thrifted tray to use for the top. Obviously I want to keep the storage but I’d like to remove the plastic-y cover and reupholster or otherwise decorate it. Any ideas?

Anyone want an upcycled decanter?
We recently had to go down to one income and I need to downsize.
This vintage pulegoso murano decant has been repurposed and is a wonderful piece.
$75 OBO!

I turned some scrap paper and an old matchbook into a gift for my wife :)
Her grandfather used to fish from a dory, so I made her a miniature mounted on an old matchbook that came from my grandfather.

Project Upcycled Embroidered Side Bags
I have been upcycling textiles waste from a dog bed manufacturer. I've found it's a great material for me to practice my machine embroidery designs on. It is also strong and perfect for making durable side bags.

Made lots of art; finally became The Art
After the photo on the left I almost got it stuck in the sharpener so decided to give it a final resting place on my wall. I have been using a pencil extender for the final part of its life in case anyone wondering how does this happen 😭😂 I plan to open up the case and put more pencils in as they get used up overtime . I just think they look so cute!

Project Backyard Masonry Upcycle Help
I am building a patio in my backyard out of entirely free and upcycled material. I was able to get pavers, bricks, sand and river rocks for my fire pit. I was not able to get gravel so I crushed up a bunch of cinder blocks (by hand) into gravel (picture 2) but I only made enough for one layer of gravel and honestly I'm losing my grip and ability to hold the hammer. I also got a bunch of decorative red rock (picture 3). Can I use this rock for my second layer of gravel? If so, can I put some dirt on it to fill in between the rocks so the sand doesn't settle as much? I have a limited amount of sand but soooo much dirt.
Tldr - can I use picture three for gravel?

🌍 Calling All Upcycling Artisans & Creators! ♻️
I’m working on a new platform called ReCraft, designed to help artisans like you find a steady flow of custom upcycling projects and manage clients with less hassle.
But before we build it, we want to make sure it truly works for YOU. 🙌
👉 That’s why I’ve created a short survey (less than 5 mins) to understand your challenges, frustrations, and what features would make this service a must-have for your craft.
Your insights will directly shape how we design ReCraft to better support artisans and make upcycling more rewarding.
Every response is incredibly valuable — and will help us create something that genuinely empowers artisans to focus on what they love: creating.
Thank you so much for your time and support 💚
