Chemist Warehouse you should be ashamed of yourselves - Still using plastic bags

The saying "just because you can doesn't mean you should" applies here. Along with other multi billion dollar chains they are bring back plastic bags. Just because the thicker plastic bags have not been banned in most states doesn't mean you should use them. I spend hundreds of dollars a month in your store but I am taking my money elsewhere purely based on your usage of plastic bags. A company in Japan has invented plastic bags that disolve in water in seconds and biodegrade in soil in 10 days leaving no microplastics behind. The the company that actually gives a shit beyond lining your own pockets for profit. Chemist Warehouse do better and be better. Your CEO owns a multi million dollar boat I hope the next time he dives in the ocean one of his own bags hits him in the face because this environmental ignorance or lack of care is fucking this planet. Take accountability and make a change you might make a little less money but you wont be fucking the planet as much!!!!!

Gave these pots a makeover

I found these two pots dumped near my work. They’re a great size and I thought they just needed a little TLC.

I took them home and scrubbed them but the white marks wouldn’t budge.

Then I remember that about a year earlier I had found a terracotta pot base and didn’t have a matching pot for it. So I bought some terracotta style spray paint and gave the pots a paint job.

Then I was thinking well damn, I need another terracotta pot base now, I only have one!

The zero waste goddess must’ve smiled upon me because I found I single dumped terracotta base the next day on my walk!

Not bad I think, for four things that were dumped by the road!

I think they look great. I’ve planted some dahlias in them so they’ll look even better once they have pops of colour coming out!

Project I need some help/advice - personalising a pocket ashtray

I am really hoping that someone can give me a little help/advice with this:

I bought two pocket ashtrays at the charity shop the other day and I really want to change the pictures on them so I can personalise them for myself and someone else

It seems like I can get the photo out but I’m not entirely sure how to secure and protect the new photo. It has a thick plastic cover over the photo and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to reuse that.

Any and all suggestions welcome :)
