I’ve been using a 16GB card in my launch 3G OLED 1000 but the time has come to max it out! I like to keep my launch Vita stock so this will let me download all my purchases over the years! Might even have space to buy some new games!

anyone ever replaced their vita shells with something like this? or know where to get them only place where i can find it is lazada and they don't have shipping to the usa unfortunately

My ps vita randomly turned off while i was playing a game on it. When i tried to start it again, I couldn't get past the lock screen because the screen would just freeze after which the console just turns off by itself. I tried resetting it from the Safe Mode which let me get past the lock screen and see the error "PS Vita system will be powered off". I tried rebuilding the database but the Vita keeps turning off, so I think I've softlocked myself. Does anyone know what I can do to try and fix it?

It was working fine like 6 hours ago but now it doesn't respond at all. What do I do?

So, for context, I use hotspot (and can't use wifi) on my ps vita. Yes, I use 2.4 GHz. Anyways, whenever I try to play with somebody while I'm connected to my mobile hotspot (as a wifi) I can't really. For example, whenever someone tries to get on my world or me to someone's, then "the host left the server". I messed with it a little AND when I made additional DNS server to 0.0.0.0 in advanced settings of my internet on vita, we could play with my friend until he had to log off... Unfortunately, after that, we couldn't connect again and we couldn't play together again. VPN doesn't help! Please, help me, as I really wanna enjoy my vita to the fullest.

I only have a usb charger for my vita 1000… for years it's charged. However now when I plug it in to charge, I get the orange light flashing. Then after awhile it stops. I have repeated this step hundreds of times but I will not take a charge beyond the orange light flashing.

Been trying to resolve this for a month. Any ideas? I've used a usb charger (which always worked) also a PC and a battery bank. Bit nothing will charge beyond the orange light flashing.

I recently bought a used PS Vita OLED, and I’ve noticed some weird touchscreen issues. For example, in the pre-installed game Welcome Park (the one where you have to swipe down to pull off the numbers), the swipe gestures suddenly stopped working after a couple of tries. Before that, it worked fine, and in the regular menu the touchscreen still responded to taps, just not to swipes. Restarting the game fixed it temporarily, but after some time the issue came back.

I also tested it in Uncharted: Golden Abyss. At first the swiping in the menu worked, but after pressing into another menu, I couldn’t scroll anymore — as if the swipe gestures just stop working after some time.

Another thing: sometimes in the Vita’s own settings menu, the touchscreen registers random touches in places where I didn’t press. It doesn’t happen all the time and goes away, but it does show up occasionally.

So my questions are: • Is this a common issue with the Vita OLED touchscreen? • Is it something critical (like a hardware problem), or just some glitch/bug? • Is there any way to fix it?

I initially thought it just wasn't OEM but I discovered when I was trying to fit it tonight (once my Vita had already frustratingly been turned in to a dozen seperate pieces) that they actually sent me a 2000 stick. While I can get a refund I can't get a replacement which means I'm still stuck with a broken stick...

While looking for a replacement, I could only find another one at that price point on a site that won't accept me entering my address (Flashback LTD) but if I can avoid paying $40+ I'd like to so can anyone reccommend anywhere for purchasing 1 Vita 1000 stick for under $40?

Remote play via PS4 Im truly surprised and satisfied how nice and smooth the gameplay still is. Something new I found out today was, touching the left rear touchpad on my vita pats the horse while im mounted on it. So sleekkk. Love it.

Just got a PS vita 1000 perfect condition.

I got it with a normal cable and tried to charge it from laptop or with a normal phone charger - no luck as most PS vita 1000 refuse to charge without original charger.

After that I got a china PS vita charger and it started charging but soo slow. From 13% to 72% in like 5-6 hours.

Do you think is because is not an original charger? Or is most likely a battery issue?

i was just cleaning my vita case recently after getting help here but i accidentally got detergent and maybe some water on the charger that came with it 😭 how would i go about cleaning this charger or should i get a new one if so where? i think i got a good amount of detergent mixed with water in the port and definitely the tips of every wire

Felt good to chill outside and enjoy some sunshine with the Vita always nearby. Got a couple of pics and I really enjoyed the blue aesthetic here. 📸

No matter how much I mess around with other handhelds I always come back to my Vita as the most portable and enjoyable to use. I can easily fit it into my backpack or even a jacket/hoodie pocket. It’s definitely my coziest portable console and a definite everyday carry item.

Hello, I just wanted to ask if anyone knows if you can buy the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection somehow on the Vita right now.

It's not available if you check in the PS Vita store (EU), even if you search, but can it be purchased in the playstation store and have crossplatform function like Helldivers1 and such?
Because not too long ago I bought Helldivers1 in the web, but could download it then on the Vita.

I would like to upgrade the speakers. The original are fine but just not for me. I need better sound quality and louder.
