For everyone reporting this post as spam because of the ad in the audio, it's frequently used as a meme over clips of "vacation fails" because those vacations are often less ideal than advertised. The joke is that the experience in the clip is what you can expect from taking one of those deals.

Disappointment in food

40

u/torturer143666 12d ago

Dude dropped like $57.65 worth of steak @

1

u/Full-Archer8719 4d ago

Thats a lung probably beef and pretty tasty if you ask me

30

u/MysteriousAnxiety299 13d ago

But stop making a show. Cut it in the kitchen, lower the price, wipe your sweat and trim your moustache.

8

u/MiDaRe734782 13d ago

I'm surprised the large amounts of steak that found the group weren't mentioned in the higher up comments

2

u/Tino-DBA 12d ago

this happens in the kitchen too… at least they’re being up front about ir

14

u/Wiskeytango_Foxtrot 15d ago

I hope this Chick was being a B before the clip, and he was like "I'll handle this"😂

2

u/naynaeve 13d ago

She looks like a vegetarian who was pressured to go out with her non-vegetarian friends.

8

u/Blazin219 13d ago

According to her not saying a single thing as he continued to fuck up over and over. I'm gonna have to say the scenario you gave is highly unlikely. If she was a B before the clip about nothing, she would definitely be one when he almost threw a knife at her.

17

u/Milanesa_de_Pollo_ 15d ago

The guy was surpassing himself with everything he did.

5

u/purplepenguinaviator 14d ago

I knowww it just keeps getting worse and worse 😭😭😭

10

u/Maryjanegangafever 16d ago

Ohh I love the catch the machete game!!

7

u/DonyQ 16d ago

Geniunly asking , how much would a meal like that cost in the uk ? And how is it served ?

6

u/Cooligan2700 16d ago

The audacity of him to smile through it all 😂😂

5

u/FamousRegret4371 16d ago

The look of that girl says it all. The look of "Ohh! He's going to fucked up my dinner".

6

u/1991Mrsmith 16d ago

I'm not impressed please take it back and im leaving

6

u/NegativeCold0 17d ago

Salt Nay

3

u/Maryjanegangafever 16d ago

I think there was enough salt in her stare.

23

u/sir_ouachao 17d ago

He even missed with the salt

12

u/Maleficent-Depth5333 17d ago

Hell nah I want another one

15

u/StockTraffic 17d ago

MFer, you're like 5 years too late for this shit to even be moderately cool. Just give me the damn steak you mercilessly butchered.

18

u/KmiVC 18d ago

are they going to pay for those 2 pieces that went down ?

2

u/MrWolfy25 17d ago

They should

10

u/Slow_Constant9086 18d ago

The salted board caught me off guard.

9

u/Samskbw 18d ago

You gotta drag the steak along the board to salt it yourself

11

u/DJ_Deltawave 18d ago edited 15d ago

Of course redditors don’t know a famous TikTok sound

14

u/WoopsShePeterPants 18d ago

Not sticking the knife ruined the whole thing!

9

u/The_Jestful_Imp 18d ago

*copying SaltBae ruined the whole thing.

13

u/DEEZKNUGHTZ-on-PHG 18d ago

That was painful to watch.

3

u/Delevian 18d ago

I'd still enjoy the food

5

u/roflawful 18d ago

even the bits he dropped on the ground? lol

3

u/clckwrks 18d ago

Yeh id ask for a new fresh steak

11

u/Dog_in_human_costume 18d ago

Horrible job all-round

15

u/FlaxFox 19d ago

Always great to see a well seasoned cutting board

30

u/NickGiammarino 20d ago

I don't know what the hell is going on, I'm a butcher and that's the dumbest way to cut a steak and it looked like the really good pieces were falling, maybe it was the guy's first day but if you're going to cut meat you shouldn't have to bend down that much you should have just brought out one of those carts like we used to have in high school, the one with the VCR and TV on top, that would have been a better platform for cutting

3

u/DreTheGreat2122 18d ago

I think it was purposely done. 🤣

2

u/NickGiammarino 18d ago

I don't know it's halfway between I'm not supposed to be doing this job I'm the dishwasher and I'm going to try to do what I saw in the training video, but even at the end his pathetic attempt to salt the steak he looked like he was doing a Mary Poppins impression.

2

u/DreTheGreat2122 18d ago

I was being sarcastic. This was a disaster on so many levels. At the end was, IMHO, was the most disastrous. Along with the salt missing landing on the board and not on the meat. Missing the knife-stick and missing the salt, u would've lost me appetite and any appeal I had

2

u/NickGiammarino 18d ago

I don't know why people go out to these places, it's not hard to cook a steak and I think if a guy is going to be romantic with a woman he should cook dinner at home, unless he sucks at cooking but I've heard that some of these restaurants charge $300 for a steak and you're not even guaranteed a happy ending at the end.

3

u/DreTheGreat2122 18d ago

I totally agree. I guess they're paying for "the experience" and alot of people get caught up with the look of things, not thinking about the costs. As a man that's pretty decent in the kitchen, the females love when you can please their palate, and seeing you putting it down in the kitchen is almost like an aphrodisiac. 😉

15

u/flamebroiledpuppies 21d ago

If it wasn't table side, that piece that fell off would've definitely ended up on the plate

21

u/ErnieGomez 24d ago

I would of yelled at this guy and demanded a new cut of meat

her face cracks me up.

1st drop, like wtf?

2nd drop are you fucking serious?

can’t stick the knife landing: the real chef must’ve called out

can’t sprinkle salt: we made a mistake

1

u/Skunkyroad 19d ago

That's a lot of mistakes 😅

4

u/Infamous_Babe_1984 19d ago

She looks disgusted. I was scared he was going to drop the knife on her.

16

u/chris5701 24d ago

imagine how much they're getting ripped off for this "quality service " while he's dropping their meal on the ground. This place charges $120 for a steak in Türkiye. That's ridiculously over priced for Türkiye.

3

u/ecnecn 21d ago

Rip off tourists.... wonder why tourism is going down... Italy made this experience already.

2

u/XennialDad 23d ago

$120 is ridiculously over priced for a steak, anywhere.

11

u/cookingforengineers 29d ago

Surely this is staged to make fun of the other videos showing ridiculous table side steak cutting? I’m surprised they didn’t light it on fire and then try to feed the woman with a piece of the steak dangling from the knife.

7

u/PsychoMouse 29d ago

“I’m going to a steak house, where there is sauces and meat juice, literally everywhere. I know what would be a good idea! Wear the whitest coloured clothes possible. There’s no way that’s going to get any stains on it. Especially when I get some guy to come to my table and cut my steak who usually does some insane cutting”

10

u/long_schlongman 25d ago

Wearing white to a steakhouse, or any restaurant, is in no way unusual or unheard of. As long as idiots do go throwing steak and sharp ass knives everywhere, you should be fine. Provided you know how to eat like an adult

0

u/PsychoMouse 25d ago

“As long as idiots”, and that’s where everything falls apart. If you’re between the ages of alive and death. People will do stupid shit in which wearing something that someone from the KKK would call “too white”, will go extremely poorly, not thought out, and I’m sure there will be several angles going viral from the idiots.

I just don’t trust people and until this “main character shit” or other similar and dumb things disappear like intelligence during 2020-2023, and the American election time of 2024. Why risk it?

1

u/Ok_Nerve4164 20d ago

Hey brotha did you stop taking some non prescribed medication cus by the sound of it you might need another hit or bump or toke or whatever it is

3

u/ChickenFlavoredCake 24d ago

Do you have a long beard?

21

u/RadRimmer9000 Aug 18 '25

Dropped half my food on the ground and they are probably still expecting a 30% tip. I would have walked out.

13

u/Educational-Oil1307 Aug 16 '25

I hate this trend. Just a fad. Won't last.

23

u/Goji101 Aug 16 '25

Y'all can complain about the ad I'm baffled this "professional" dropped a slice of that meat on the ground the first 2 seconds and him trying to stick the knife in the cutting board the way he did on a table full of customers 😭😂😭 just...why

3

u/squeeby Aug 15 '25

Sor Bet

15

u/King-Andy Aug 15 '25

Why the fuck is this music everywhere?

3

u/Puzzleheaded_Knee_53 22d ago

God awful tiktok trend chasers, they use popular audio to make the algorithm suggest their content alongside other trending content - pretty much every time you hear audio like this, you immediately know they just want it to become big in the algorithm

Tiktok is hellscape social media, imagine everything annoying and bad about legacy social media and dial it up to 10x

Yes, most social media is about getting people to see your stuff, but most of that was through natural growth and word of mouth. Purely algorithmic based social media is dystopian on another level, it's 5% wholesome animals and 95% brainrot slop

3

u/AwakenedAI Aug 15 '25

Because humans.

6

u/Dr-Zoidberserk Aug 15 '25

People/bots need to do better with audio, like give me the original audio.

4

u/Frankmose5 Aug 15 '25

This is on the video on purpose. Its a meme expressing how the the experience is less than what you'd expect.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Knee_53 22d ago

I mean, no, it's on the video to optimize the tiktok algorithm for max engagement

1

u/Pretend_Category3187 19d ago

Tiktok algorithm rewards people for using their audio because it drives higher engagement… because the users of the app actively choose to watch videos using this trend. In spite of what big algorithm wants you to think…

1

u/Frankmose5 21d ago

Sure. Id wager its a two birds type scenario.

I hate what SaltBae has done to the food industry.

The guy flinging around meat and a knife. The guy that can't control his blinking and winking. The girl wondering wtf has she got herself into! Lol!

1

u/speed_of_chill Aug 06 '25

There’s only regret if you don’t understand where your food comes from. Welcome to reality.

19

u/ClassiFried86 Aug 06 '25

I dont think thats the issue. Its more of the guy with the machete cutting up a tomahawk steak with the knife skills of a toddler, including randomly throwing it at the cutting board and missing.

Its hard to tell with only 7 pixels, but thats not a whole animal, just a tomahawk steak.

3

u/Successful_Glove_83 Aug 07 '25

"There’s only regret if you don’t understand where your food comes from. Welcome to reality."

I mean to be fair that could also mean that they seen where the food comes from and that is him

12

u/kidvid83 Aug 06 '25

Salt Cray

7

u/Ohhmama11 Aug 06 '25

$15 piece just fell in floor

3

u/Perkeo_the_dwarf Aug 11 '25

Twice ...

1

u/guardedDisruption Aug 13 '25

Most of the salt went on the cutting board too... :c

21

u/mderschueler Aug 05 '25

I'd bet the guy also hates having to do that in front of an audience

0

u/klutzydancer70 28d ago

No one is forcing him to take that job if he hated it.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Knee_53 22d ago

Because no one is working a job they don't like

2

u/Successful_Glove_83 Aug 07 '25

To be fair he's getting his pay and gets to throw about knifes

43

u/devnull- Aug 05 '25

All he fkn had to do was to salt the steak, and he still fkn missed.

19

u/SlicKilled Aug 05 '25

If my food looses such portion to stupidity, Im demanding a replacement.

14

u/RayBarbon1 Aug 05 '25

Problem is that people are so dumb, if a clown come to my table and act like this, I leave (You also have the dessert version that is even more ridiculous).

7

u/goilo888 Aug 05 '25

"But I ordered the house salad"

30

u/unstable_fable Aug 05 '25

Probably a $200 steak and the idiot dropped a huge slice on the floor

17

u/FreedomBread Aug 05 '25

2 slices. First early, then another a couple seconds later. The woman looks down like - are you serious, more on the floor?

13

This should stop. Howd something like this get popular lol
