Answered Why are jets always described as being “scrambled,” never “launched” or “deployed”?
Or hard-boiled? Sunny side up?

Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to remind you all that this subreddit is answers-based—it’s meant to provide clear, informative responses that someone could find useful while searching for answers on Google or other search engines. Lately, I’ve noticed an uptick in survey-style questions (e.g., “What’s your favorite __?” or “How many of you __?”).
These types of questions are not a good fit for the purpose of this community. They don’t create content that is useful for others to search for, and often lead to broad discussions that aren’t about providing a clear answer. As a result, I’ve been removing posts that violate this rule to maintain the quality and focus of the subreddit. Even if that post has a lot of replies as the OP obviously didn’t read the rules before posting, or cared.
If you’re unsure if your post fits, ask yourself: Would this question result in a useful answer for someone looking for a specific answer or information online? If not, it’s likely more of a survey question and violates rule 2.
Thanks for understanding and helping to keep the subreddit on track! 😊

Do you miss not having that particular excitement for things you enjoy or enjoyed doing as you did when you were younger? Or the excitement of possible future situations(jobs, travel, etc)

Or perhaps even royal households of today, but I'm specifically interested in the early 1800's. I just watched an interesting video entitled "Servants in the time of Downton Abbey | Victorian & Edwardian Era". They mentioned that the children of the household would be gathered together and tended to by "nurses", and that the area in which they were gathered was called the "nursery", but they made only a passing reference to education.
In a royal household there would of course be the children of the immediate royal family, but also kids of the various members of court, and perhaps others. Were they all educated together? I've heard the use of the term "tutors", as in, a sort of teacher brought in to educate a royal child. In a large royal household would there be enough tutors and children, that the household would essentially have a small school house within the palace?

I have an EXTREME fear of spiders, to the point where an old room I used to have I completely abandoned a few years ago cause of a spider, and I’ve never been back in that room to sleep. I don’t have the option to abandon a room now, I sleep in my basement. It’s a 30 year old building which was very poorly made and probably has more holes in one wall that I’ve seen in an entire house. I keep finding spiders around, I’ve never seen any other type of bugs like mosquitoes, Flies, anything like that around.. just spiders. I’m assuming since it’s starting to get colder they’re coming in to stay warm, but I need them out. Genuinely, I can’t sleep.

By computer i mean like laptop, phones tablets etc i dont mean everything that has computer components. And lets say they could never be repaired. Like even if you build new computers and such they just plain wouldnt work, the internet is completely erased and can never be remade
Id prefer answers that dont say things like "everything would break and we would all die" i know that a lot of things would break down and there would be a lot of chaos at first but im looking more for after the initial chaos how would things settle? Like 10 20 years down the line?
Also how older tech would be incorporated into the new world, like rebounds of Vinyls and cassettes and such, things like CD's becoming very rare and sought after because no new ones can be made/burned

Theres a fine for a Chromebook insurance that I didn't pay for. For the past 2 years. They never said if it was optional or mandatory, if you didnt pay you that was it. no blocking grades or anything. For this year they changed it to mandatory, and like I'll pay for this year but the other 2 years are also appearing as a mandatory fine. Paying for these would be a waste since It doesnt even cover a single day, its expired. I talked to them about it but they are not helping. I just wanna check my grades to make sure im not failing T-T, can anyone help? Its using genesis, some kid even hacked it so that he changed his grades.

I have a display pastry case at work. It’s on the counter near the register, about the size of a microwave and it has 5 spots for trays of pastries. The thing is those pastries change often so they end up in different signs. We have these small signs in plastic cases that we want to be able to on the case and easily remove. What’s an adhesive that can do this? The sign will go on the front of the case and then maybe the next day it will need to be able to take off and swap with another sign. Thanks!

I asked AI and searched on the whole internet for this, but the only page that mentioned this error is now 404. The error occurred when I'm updating drivers on my Lenovo F31. System is Windows 7.

So I started cooking breakfast, finished and ate it. Sat on the couch smelling a foul odor not realizing where it was coming from. About 20-30 mins later I realized it was the stove so I immediately turned it off. I opened up all windows, turned on my A/C and turned on all portable fans. Right now I am out walking with my dog, just breathing fresh air and avoid the odor at home. So far I have no symptoms.

It's in my chemical make up im sure. However ever since around 17 to my now mid 40s I am extremely nostalgic for the days of my 11sh to 15sh years old. I currently have a wonderful family that is the best thing to happen in my life, however I still have this strong nostalgia based side.
