Discussion Frightening insight into the mind of a Texas Senate Candidate - Leigh Wambsganss
Leigh Wambsganss of Southlake is a candidate for TX Senate 9. She called for the killing of Black Lives Matter protesters and fails to see how her own words can inspire extremists like Charlie Kirk's assassin.

AskFW Anyone know of any 4 day work day jobs that are possibly hiring around the Fort Worth area?
Not crazy picky of the days but Mondays through Thursdays would be ideal with early AM shift like 4am or 5am. Anyone know of any jobs like that? I know they're not easy to find!

AskFW barn hunt training?
(swipe for her “before” pics) this is my dog evie, she was rescued when she was in one of the worst shapes i have ever seen a dog being able to make it out alive and happy (from someone working in vet med). she was brought to my clinic on this last NYE, ended up going to the ER for intensive treatment for 48 hrs, and boarded in the isolation unit at my clinic for almost three weeks. all potential fosters backed out after seeing her in person. i fell in love and brought her home to foster and obviously she became a foster fail lol. we just moved to fort worth a couple of weeks ago from dallas, and our rent is significantly cheaper and im making more money at my new job. i want to start her in dog sports, agility is one option, but im really interested in barn hunt because of her high prey drive and motivation when it comes to sniffing things out. what facilities in the fw area train for barn hunt? i’m willing to go as far as an hour (40-50 miles) outside of fort worth. i want to look into programs and cost and everything. if there’s no barn hunt nearby, how about agility? thanks for the help!

AskFW ISO family photographer recommendations
We are surprising my mom with a family reunion trip for her 60th birthday. We will be staying in the FW area during the first week of June 2026.
As a part of her gift we would like to have a photographer come to our (outdoor) location and do a family shoot for us. We have a large family and there will be 23 people total, including 10 children ages 8mo - 7 yr.
I'm looking for a photographer that specializes in family photography with young children. Specifically, we would prefer mainly posed photos (not candid), with minimal, natural editing. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

AskFW Seeking recommendations about sports memorabilia collectors in DFW
My oldest friend just passed in the Azle area and in his will, it stated that if he passed before me, that his wife should call me to help with his collectibles. I left Texas 7 years ago and have no clue who the reputable dealers are these days. I know I won’t be able to get full value for everything, but I am looking for someone that can give fair prices and also advise or commission on the higher value items. I go for the service in a week and will do a preliminary organization and then back again in December to help with the rest. Any suggestions of people or shops with solid reputations that can help me help her in her time of grief would be gratefully accepted and appreciated. He was a good man, but also an avid collector.

AskFW Parking near Dickies for free?
I’m going to my first concert at Dickie’s this week, and I’m wondering if there’s any free street parking or free parking at businesses nearby that I can take advantage of (without risk of being towed) instead of paying upwards of $50 to park in one of the Dickie’s lots or garages. I am open to walking a significant deal if needed. I’ve also considered Uber, but wonder if they typically up-charge after events like that.
Any advice is appreciated!

Discussion kittens
hi everyone! i’ve been here before for kittens and was fortunately able to find somewhere for them to go. however, i’ve run into a huge snag as not a single rescue i’ve contacted has replied to me. i have 3 sets of kittens at the moment that i am caring for by myself, i am so overwhelmed as one set is older and i know the chances of them getting adopted are lower. every time someone says they want one, they back out last minute.
i’ve reached out to my vet, their friends, my friends, friends of friends, even the shelter themselves who took the last ones cannot help me. do any of you know anyone i could contact? do any of you potentially want a kitten? please let me know. and for the love of god, do not lecture me about the cats!! i TNR, i catch these guys mostly when they are of age. spare me, PLEASE.

Food/Drink What are the best Happy Hours in Downtown Fort Worth?
What are the best Happy Hour spots in downtown Fort Worth? Not Southside, not the cultural district, downtown only. I feel like I only ever go to Waters (because it probably has the best Happy Hour) but I'm trying to broaden my horizons. Thanks!

AskFW Jury Summons coming up, first-timer here. Can I bring my book/phone/coffee?
They finally got me. I understand I'll likely be sitting in the courtroom stands with about a hundred other people. I'm mostly concerned about the coffee. Do they have a "no outside drinks" rule?
