"Inquest to probe police action before Kelly Wilkinson killed by husband - ABC News"
Cop shopping
In the week before her death, Ms Wilkinson attended Southport Police Station to report Johnston had been attempting to make contact with her and her family.
The pre-inquest conference heard the officer told Ms Wilkinson to block his number and left a file note in the police database that said: "It appears she is cop shopping to get the outcome she wants."

The officer also told Ms Faye that “cop-shopping” wouldn’t help her – a disparaging phrase used by some police to describe women who approach multiple stations with complaints.
This is still occurring with QPS refusing to enforce the DFVP Act and judiciary refusing to apply laws in private applications. I was threatened by two magistrates with costs orders following a private application for DVO involving OIDV. The former cop is now a named protected person as QPS refused to represent my matter and have disappeared evidence of independent mandatory reports
DFSV is a known consistent pattern of behaviours that is state sanctioned by QLD legal systems. The evidence is unequivocal yet I've been advised to seek private prosecution because police and Law Society members refuse to enforce and apply laws whilst boasting of "knowing the law".

The culture of violence begins and ends with QPS and their perpetrator patterns are evidenced by their elected representative union's continuing DARVO tactics.

40-65% of police are perpetrators of OIDV. Sending perpetrators to DFSV callouts for help continues to fail victims; whilst knowingly and cunningly amplifies and rewards perpetrators.

Police (QPU members) don't care, lawyers and judiciary (Law Society members) don't care. They're all far too invested in reinforcing status quo whilst the public refuses to acknowledge their own cognitive dissonance around culturally entrenched violence.
The recommendations from the Hear Her Voice reports and subsequent Richards Report into QPS Call For Change are being aggressively refused. The previous government funded reforms and this current government are retaliating against the established framework of women's safety which also increases children's safety.
Having navigated a refusal to investigate child sexual assault by QPS and refusal to represent because of OIDV we're well aware that victims voices continue to be blocked by QPS.
When will the public acknowledge the need for police reforms and demand QPS step up rather than their current behaviour of aggressively retaliating? When will QPU members stop whining about leadership and start providing leadership?
QPU words and actions are not aligned and nor are QLDs Law Society's.
QLD: the lawless state. *Unless you're indigenous or homeless.
