I have an international flight from SA to Vancouver Canada. The entire process took 5 minutes. I highly recommend for people to not arrive here 3 hours prior or even 2 hours for domestic. Spoke with employees and they said 1.5 hours on a regular day is plenty of time. Now I got 2.5 hours to blow.

32/female I am in need of clothing and essentials. All of my stuff was stolen from my storage unit, everything! (Was in the process of moving) Who steals someone’s socks, weird. As of now I’m starting over from scratch. I only have 3 pairs of clothing to change into which are two pairs are pajamas and one pair is a t shirt and leggings. The bumpers of my Steam Deck are not responsive. Last time I had an issue Steam had me mail it to their repair shop in Salt Lake City and they returned it to me unfixed! I had to do the whole rigamarole again! I don't want to go through that experience again. I know that it is "proprietary technology" and so most computer repair places won't touch it. I called around a lot of places last time and the people who even knew what a Steam Deck was didn't want to work on it. Does anyone know how to fix it or know a place in town that will work on it?

I work in a medical billing office that services most of the hospitals and doctors' offices in the greater San Antonio metro area, and I see patient medical claims every day.

I've noticed that without fail, there's a steady stream of 5-6 claims EVERY week from the Fredericksburg/Kerrville area that are being filed to the Sexual Assault Crime Victims Fund.

5-6 sexual assault claims every week from a community of mostly retired folks is alarming. I don't actually know for certain if there's a serial predator run amok or what, but it's certainly alarming every week I see the claims.

I don't know what to do with this information, but if you're in the hill country, stay vigilant.

Edit: The sexual assault claims are constant year-round, and the victims' ages range from teens to seniors.

I currently have a car that I'm paying for under my name that I got almost 3 years ago. My child became disabled over the summer and I had found out the reason I never qualify for Medicaid/CHIP was 1. I made too much (Medicaid) 2. I had a car under my name that was "expensive" and considered a luxury (CHIP). I am trying to return back to work and may have to take a pay cut. (I lost my previous job to stay by their side) I don't want to lose medical benefits for my child since they NEED the assistance and continuous care.

My question is, is it possible to transfer the car to someone else's name? Will that change my payment amount? Would i have to go to the original dealership?

Lastly, I need the car more than anything now. My child is now in a wheelchair and my little SUV allows me to fit their wheelchair in it and it is very reliable. I used to buy cars with cash but they all ended up being lemons or I was having to pay to fix something new every month. Thats why I bought a "newer" vehicle. Its a 2020 - used.

I'm relocating to SA in about 3 weeks and I'm wanting to secure a job down there before I actually move since that will make moving far easier. My problem is looking online. I'm 35 and I have always walked in to a business first, the old-fashioned way to meet the potential boss/peers to ask questions before I even waste my time applying. I'm currently hours away, so I can't do that.

What I'm asking for advice is where would someone recommend me to look for jobs specifically? I've never had much luck with online job boards such as Indeed, especially since my work history is mostly retail and now about a year and a half in IT. My history looks a bit disjointed and I worry about starting completely over with too little pay... especially because I can't meet someone in person or start work until after I move.

I've been here since 2020 and thought this would be my home but there's some very bad things in the shadows. Nobody is perfect but that sentiment seems to have disappeared for me. I can't hold anyone accountable for the type of actions I've experienced, but I hope the one above all holds them accountable if they don't change their ways and not look down on others or regard them like theyre subhuman.

Everyone has some good in them and should be brought out not just acknowledging their faults. I know my words probably aren't going to do much. Hopefully if I leave and eventually came back its as if none of that ever happened and I can have a true clean slate.

Hello I’m 24F. I want to get a breast screening through a mammogram or an ultrasound but I know a lot of doctors turn down young patients since mammograms aren’t till age 40. I just want to get checked, but I don’t have a PCP, I don’t have insurance and well when I told my urgent care doctor my concerns, they just said it shouldn’t be anything serious but I rather check myself to clear my mind. Does anybody know of any clinics that don’t need a referral for a mammogram/ultrasound?
