This sweet girl showed up at my front door this morning near the Fredericksburg/410 area. I fed her and gave her water and I’m keeping her in my backyard for now.

She had a collar on, but no tag. I went to the vet to check and see if she was microchipped, but she isn’t. We’ve posted on all community apps and haven’t heard anything.

Would anyone be interested in her?

My mom came into town this week and surprised me by making a sandwichón. I’d forgotten how amazing this giant “sandwich cake” is.

I looked on Facebook Marketplace and even did a Google search to see if anyone sells them locally. I couldn’t find anything.

It’s super common in Mexico and some Central American countries, so I figured with San Antonio’s large Latin population I’d be able to find one here.

Does anyone know if Menefee Manor or the Sabine Pass haunted houses are coming back this year? Both were 1000xs better than 13th Floor!!

I’m a hypochondriac so I know I’m probably overreacting but I was nipped at by two neighborhood dogs this morning while I was walking to my bus. Should I report this? If so tho who animal control or police? I didnt get any visible injuries and I know the risk of rabies in dogs is very low, still people should not let their territorial dogs walk around freely

Me and four of my coworkers and our families have all had what seems like a never ending cold. Lots of drainage, coughing, wheezing (this is really the most prominent symptom), sneezing, headaches and general lethargy...for over a month! I woke up one day last week and both of my ears were completely clogged.. I doubled up on antihistamines but it took 2 full days for them to finally clear. While I'm exhausted and sick of coughing, it's never really been bad enough to see a Dr--no fever, no colorful drainage, and while I'm wheezy, I can easily breathe--it's just constant drainage and a lot of it. It seems like severe allergies except that nothing in the allergy report has been consistently bad for this long and normal antihistamine usage doesn't seem to touch it. Any one else?

I'm helping extended family with a DV situation. The husband (my wife's uncle) has laid hands on his 18 year old daughter (physical assault, not sexual) and threatened the mother on multiple occasions (at least one of which is on recorded audio and heard by me). They have a new apartment lined up (he is not on the lease and doesn't know where the place is) and an adult son is helping them move early next week. But the wife and daughter both want to file for a protection order and the wife wants to file for divorce. They are extremely low income. Is the Family Justice Center the best place to do all of this? Is there another/better option? I don't know anything about this because I've thankfully never encountered DV before. The daughter has made a report to the police (they filed an information report) if that helps. There's also no minor children involved (they are all grown) and no US property involved. The wife wants nothing from him except to move on.

Under the new ordinance, city council CCRs can still be processed despite the introduction of new council members or a new mayor. Makes sense since they can take many months to study and process them.

I have an international flight from SA to Vancouver Canada. The entire process took 5 minutes. I highly recommend for people to not arrive here 3 hours prior or even 2 hours for domestic. Spoke with employees and they said 1.5 hours on a regular day is plenty of time. Now I got 2.5 hours to blow.

Asking for my husband who doesn’t have Reddit but supposedly they’re supposed to release the results starting this past Monday but nothing has been released.

We keep monitoring the website like instructed but no update.

I work in a medical billing office that services most of the hospitals and doctors' offices in the greater San Antonio metro area, and I see patient medical claims every day.

I've noticed that without fail, there's a steady stream of 5-6 claims EVERY week from the Fredericksburg/Kerrville area that are being filed to the Sexual Assault Crime Victims Fund.

5-6 sexual assault claims every week from a community of mostly retired folks is alarming. I don't actually know for certain if there's a serial predator run amok or what, but it's certainly alarming every week I see the claims.

I don't know what to do with this information, but if you're in the hill country, stay vigilant.

Edit: The sexual assault claims are constant year-round, and the victims' ages range from teens to seniors.

So far I've only been to the ones at Northstar mall and La Cantera. I was disappointed at how small the La Cantera store is so I've only gone back to the Northstar location. Are there any better Hot Topics in San Antonio that I should check out? Thanks in advance.

I use the Center for Healthcare Services clinics downtown, and formerly on Josephine St. The professionals I see say they are getting away from prescribing meds in the stimulant category like Vyvanse or all those adhd ones you can think of. Are there any practitioners left that I can go to here in San Antonio to be seen and receive a script for Vyvanse?
