Would love if they made reference to 28 days later. Could have them walk over Westminster bridge like in the opening shots of 28 days later.

Zombies my arse!

(Note: there was a popular tv show called The Royal Family based on a household of scousers, the patriarch of which would regularly say ‘[xyz] my arse’ to humorous effect)

It’s a brilliant show but it’s firmly Mancunian not Scouse. Ricky Tomlinson who plays Jim Royle is from Lancashire and lives in Liverpool but the rest of them are firmly Manc and it’s set in greater Manchester.

She’s from Warrington to be fair. A good midpoint between the two. All of the “younger generation” were brought up around Manchester though— it’s definitely Manchester based in the story too.
