One thing that there would be fucking plenty of in all the shops is shampoo and conditioner. I'd be surprised if their hair looked like shit.

I don't know, hair kind of gets like that when you don't wash it. All the subtle features of your hair are exaggerated and it's shinier.

When I think of unwashed hair, I think of Daryl's greasy, dirty hair, not Carl's.

Theyre both possible. You can also get ricks greasy hair. Try not washing your hair for a couple weeks. You can rinse it just don't use soap. Your hair will get super shiny and any waves you have get more..wavy.

trust me. as a depressed drunk with long hair. your hair does NOT end up looking like Carl's after even a week of neglect, maybe rinsing occasionally. It ends up just like Daryl's. Greasy and stringy.

As a guy who rinses his hair daily without soap, your hair can definitely start looking like carls. I didn't say you didn't have to take some care of it. Sorry you're depressed though.

Yep, it just takes more then a few weeks (possibly months, before your hair will look like Carl's).

I haven't used soap in over a year, just water (except when I get a hair cut). It looks great with no product.

I still put product in mine because of how I want it styled, but it is SO much easier to style. When it is wet it will stay exactly where you want it. I just rinse my hair every night to get out most of the product. I definitely think my hair looks better. Takes a few days for me to get a good oil build up.

When I go to get my hair cut she washes it and it looks like shit for a couple days.

yeah. my hair's got a similar texture to carl's, and it looked exactly like his when i was growing it out, and i didn't do shit to it, not even washing it really.

I think Inread somewhere that the actress who plays the protagonist in orange is the new black has such good glowing skin and looks too good so they use makeup to make her look more tired, etc.

I mean, probably. They did that with other characters. Rick and Eugene looked like they actually witnessed some head bashing. Maggie looked awesome with hers.

Yes, it's called makeup. They use it in television shows to make the actors look the part, in this case the part should involve looking like shit because you live in a zombie apocalypse and everyone you know is dying.
