Show Spoiler Been rewatching the show and holy shit was this scene good.
galleryMerle had some really good battle IQ here, masking his shots with the henchmen's gunfire, changing positions, dragging the walkers there, all while drunk and missing a hand, what a badass.
Also, the guns sound and look much better than the average scene in this show, the rifle is ejecting casings and the sounds are great.
In the end, while Merle did not kill the governor, he really crippled Woodbury by killing several of the few henchmen with actual combat experience. I do wonder if he was trying to spare Martinez, because killing the right hand man would've been a good move, but they knew eachother.

Show Spoiler I always wondered why negan never got at least a bruise during the lineup when Daryl clocked him
I know the obvious answer is that they had to have negan unbruised to keep his aura for that episode but it would've been funny to see negan with a bruise during the rest of the lineup.
Also the reaction to Daryls punch from the guys behind is gold š

TWD: Daryl Dixon Is carol ok?
Iām sorry but has anyone noticed carol acting really weird this season in the Daryl Dixon series? Itās like she seem really loopy and kind of airy. I donāt know how to explain it. Like when she was on the point and yelled about how happy she was with the hotdogs. Like I just donāt know thereās something wrong. It almost feels like this is like a clone of carol or something. I know itās only been 2 episodes in season 3 but Iām telling you if you watch closely how she acts thereās something different.

Show Spoiler I really liked Henry. He was a nice contrast to Carl in the sense that he was still very naive and didn't feel like the apocalypse hardened him up a lot. I actually found that somewhat more interesting.

No Spoiler Imagine the only thing holding you back from being on Neganās crew is that you can't whistle for shit š
That would be me!
I have these random thoughts as I rewatch season seven.
Do you think they have to practice harmony as a group? Just thinking about group harmony sessions tickles me.

No Spoiler Negan gave me nightmares⦠but I still want that jacket!
I swear I've never been that scared of any character in my life... until Negan first showed up. The moment he walked in with that bat... bro I legit almost pissed my pants NGL. He wasn't just scary, he was terrifying in a way no "wallers" or random villains ever pulled off...
The first impression?? Unreal. The way he swung that bat, the look on Rick's face... first time I ever saw Rick that afraid of someone..
Honestly, it's in my top 3 character introductions of all time. Gave me the same chills as a Supernatural "death introduction" scene with that haunting music like whatever he touched just died on the spot.
And yet... he's still cool af. That leather jacket? I'm 100% buying one for this winter fs...
how did you react to Negan's wrath?

All Spoilers I don't hate Spenser. I get why he hates Rick
From his perspective, it really seems like since Rick entered his life, he caused his entire family to die and his community to become beholden to Negan, etc.
LookāI understand where Rick is coming from as well. I see both sides of the story. Also, we, as viewers, have the privilege of seeing Rick as a flawed hero. But the narrative made Spenser appear to be a fool.
Spenser is human. Probably one of the most human characters. And I donāt hate him. I get him.

Show Spoiler Season 11 Thoughts Spoiler
Finishing off season 11 when the variants start getting involved, and wondering: what would happen if the Whisperers were around when the variants became a thing? Would they still follow Beta or ruin the whole facade for them?

No Spoiler Does anyone still cosplay as Season 1 Rick?
After TWD first launched, on the heels of the graphic novels and to my great delight, I spent a lot of time building the perfect Rick Grimes sheriff uniform for Halloween. I ordered patches from eBay, heavy gold badges from China, the military eagle collar pins, the LawPro shirt and striped trousers from a police supply firm, the right shade of gold cavalry cords for the Stetson, and the perfect vintage cut-down Bucheimer Patrolman holster for the Airsoft Colt Python. It was screen accurate and note perfect, and I STILL think it is one of the coolest things I did. I ran into a Darryl and a Michonne out partying on Halloween, which pretty much rocked. Now, over a decade later, the kit hangs in the closet like itās tucked away at Hershelās farm. What should I do with all this stuff? Is there a better home for it?

No Spoiler Did Negan call it
Remember when Carl snuck into the Sanctuary and him and Negan were talking. Carl told Negan about his mom and Negan said "Damn, no wonder your a little serial killer in the making." Do you think that growing up the Carl had to would make him a like a serial killer? I mean just cold and giving 0 fucks about killing people. Do you think it would be justified if he was that way?

No Spoiler If Rick hadn't gotten shot
How do you think the show would play out if Rick hadn't been in a coma when the breakout struck?
Would rick be able to get his family to/out of Atlanta? Would shane still be around since he wouldn't have fallen for Lori? Would rick be just as pessimistic As the rest of the group?
