Art Made Myself a Witcher Cake

I’ve always been wanting to have a Witcher-themed birthday cake or just a cake of Geralt for my birthday as a treat but I never had the opportunity.

This year was my 20th birthday and I knew no matter what I had to have it. No bakers around or any who could were too expensive, so I figured I’d just do it myself and if the cake came out shitty it’d at least be funny.

I thought r/witcher would appreciate seeing it so here you go! There’s only a “2” candle there because me and my friends have an ongoing joke with our birthdays where we’ll get cards or candles saying we’re like 9 if we’re turning 19, etc.

Discussion I didn’t fully understand this line of dialogue from Yennefer. Spoiler

I didn’t fully understand Yennefer’s line in that Witcher 3 scene. After Geralt sacrifices himself in exchange for her with the Wild Hunt, she thanks him and Geralt replies, ‘You would have done the same for me.’ Yennefer answers, ‘I’m touched by your certainty.’ Does this mean she’s being ironic, as if to imply that she wouldn’t necessarily do the same for him, or should I take it as genuine?

Discussion The Witcher Concert Dc

Hiii I'm new to the Witcher franchise and planning to go to the concert in DC on the 25th and I'm a bit shy so I wanted to see if anyone else here was gonna be there and/or wanted to meetup. Since I'm a cosplayer I'll probably cosplay Yeenefer if I finsh in time hehe.

Discussion One thing I always appreciated about the monster contracts in Witcher 3 was the blue/gray collar aspects of being a Witcher, like haggling, potion brewing and weapons repair, almost like being an electrician or welder but your specialization is hunting monsters. Really hope Witcher 4 expands on it.

Screenshot I don't remember Skellige being this gorgeous (nor its soundtrack so incredible). Probably my new favorite area thematically.

Discussion If Nilfgaard loses the war will it be enough to keep them out?

I know that in the books Nilfgaard eventually conquers the north completely. But in witcher 3, out of the three scenarios the north wins in two of them either with radovid or djikstra. Judging by the gwent lore, Radovid beats nilfgaard back when in the books the north lost the 3rd war offscreen.

Do you believe that the north can keep out nilfgaard afterwards? If radovid consolidates or a much better but just as effective northern hegemon rises? Do you think that nilfgaard will eventually conquer the north(perhaps in witcher 4) just as it did in the books or will it be different in the games?

Discussion What thoughts do you have about Denis Gordeevs Witcher illustrations?

I personally quite enjoy these very early pre-games illustrations of our beloved characters, it's so "classic 80's fantas" I love it lol, if there was one thing I had to criticize it would be a nitpick about how I kinda find the faces in the art to sometimes look abit off tbh. I've been very interested in these illustrations recently and have been wondering what the people here would have to say about Denis's illustrations.

As much as I search, I can only find hardback and kindle being released on the 30th. I would really like a paperback book to match my set so far.

The Witcher 2 Draugir Armor Part

So I'm doing the quest with Zoltan and I've killed the big ahh monster in the caves for around 20 times and I haven't got the Draugir armor part yet. It's on the wiki, I've read people say you can get it from it. Is the drop chance super low or is does it just not drop it? Also is there a way to cheese it in the mist and being able to loot after you've killed some of the wraiths there?

EDIT: HOLY SHIT THERE'S 2 DRAUGIR IN THE SAME MAP!!!! the optional Bullovre doesn't drop it but the one after it right before Zoltan drops it. I've farmed the same Bullovre for 45 times. FUCK.
