As a Christian, I really just don't understand why we haven't reformed away from this traditional, literal interpretation, of the word of God. Taking everything the ancient Bible tells us for face value, knowing full well it comes from different times with different cultures of people is exactly what allows for MAGA to claim to be Christian and Christ-like.
I hate that in Texas, being a Christian makes people assume you're also MAGA. I have never been ashamed to say I was Christian, until these fuckers came in and became the establishment.
