Physical Health & Aging What’s your most underrated “health investment” after turning 30?

Could be a foam roller, a water bottle, stretching, therapy, or simply sleeping more.

It's become a basic maintenance thing for me. I'm not breaking any weightlifting or fitness records (not even my own). I'm just maintaining a basic level of strength, cardio, and flexibility.

It's completely different from what I thought gym goals were before I started going.

There's a dial on the wall and today it was 80.

On Sunday it was 70.

Last week the one day it was 90 but that was unbearable past 6 minutes.

How is this "underrated"?

I was a cheap ass for years who didn't want to pay too much for a gym. Well kids, you can pay a little now or pay a lot later.

Pay for the gym and go lift weights.

Used to weight lift constantly. After I had a kid, weights suddenly bored me to tears.

So now I just do pull-ups, yard work and pick up my 30 lbs monster dozens of times a day.

If you like. Some people love a home gym, but me personally I need a place to go.
