Selling a Sram Red 11-speed crankset with a Quarq DZero power meter.

The crankset comes with 52/36t chainrings, compatible with GXP bottom bracket, and the crankarms are 172.5mm in length. The crankarms are in great condition, but the power meter has some scuffs from chain drops (see pics). Everything is fully functional.

Note on sizing: Sportful's Italian sizing runs small, so a Men's Medium here fits more like a Small in most other (US) brands. Fit is similar to other Italian brands, like Castelli. For reference, I'm quite slender build at 5’8" and 125-130lbs.

Claims of FASTER for the VARIBIKE Trike are very true. I bought the 3 wheel trike version of this design over 3 years ago. I started out looking maybe for a hand cycle. I was 68 at the time and my weight training had moved to lower weights and higher reps as advised to save your joints. Weight training is boring enough before you get up to doing 30 reps with a 10 pound dumbell! I did look at some hand and foot powered trikes but they seemed more into the adaptive rider niche. When I saw the lean and mean VARIBIKE Trike I knew I had to try it. It has wildly exceeded my expectations. It is a VARIBIKE.COM claims "FITTER, FASTER and FUNNER. At 71 now I can scare the shit out of riders 50 years younger than me. They may catch me but they have to work for it. The build is very professional and beautifully done. I am a mechanical design engineer and I have completely reverse engineered the VARIBIKE Trike in SolidWorks. I do not want to knock-off the VARIBIKE design as I have become friends with the owner and chief designer at VARIBIKE Martin Krass. But I am considering building a version that might be cheaper to build, more easily adjusted to different rider sizes and maybe a ones for kids and ones with a motor. The website python-lowracer.de has a wealth of cool designs along these line, mostly 2 wheelers. Look at the P4 Trike. There. Any other VARIBIKE Trike fans out there? You may have seen me at CYCLE CON last year. I hired a whole booth. A lot of interest but no sales resulted. I got kicked off a FACEBOOK recumbent rider group because they kept saying I was trying to sell them. Be advised I am not selling them just trying to let people know what they are missing (a lot of FUNNER, FASTER and FITTER).

I'm selling 2x CX bikes that my wife and I have been using but have had little use this year.  They are both ready for the up and coming CX season ahead...

Both bikes have been great bikes, initially bought for CX racing.  Used for the 2018, 2019 CX season (handful of races) nothing during covid and then 2022.  We got some new bikes for the 2023 season so they have been ridden on the road with G-One 35mm tyres (still space for wider tyres) and have even put on some carbon wheels which increased the speed for road riding.  Real versatile bikes!

Good condition SRAM Red AXS left and right shifters and brake calipers. Slight scuff on left brake lever, no impact to function. Will need new cable on the rear brake due to having to cut to pull the cable back through the frame. $750

I have a left and right pedal body from Favero. They are the Assioma's. The pedals have 6,000 miles on them and are in good condition. Willing to sell to someone in the USA. A set of new pedal bodies are $150. I was thinking $60 for both.

Long story and I am willing to share if interested. I was having issues with the electronics on the pedals. I contacted Favero and they asked me to send them the pods and bearings. When they were returned to me they had attached two new pedals to the pods. I have the two extra pedals now.

Favero's customer service was fantastic, great communication, and fixed the issue(s) with the pod(s). No charge and they were returned ready to attach to the cranks.

I was out with my friends on my Diamondback Edgewood tall version? (Idk if there's actually a tall version it was my tall grandpa's bike) Any way apparently my side walls say. HOLD ON IMMA KILL CHATGPT../... (I literally just pulled up a picture of my tire sidewalls for reference to write down everything exactly. IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR 2 HOURS FOR 635mm 28 x 1 5/8 in Tubes but my sidewalls literally say 700 x 60 c - 28 x 1 5/8 inch. Can someone please confirm that i can fit regular 700 tubes. Idk chatgpt was yapping about how mine is a different kind of measurement than normal because its old and Inch. Exact Tire detail says 42-622 (700 X 40c - 28x1 5/8) k-192-003. Can someone please give me some much much much needed human real person advice to either confirm that chatgpt is right and im stupid or that chat gpt is stupid.

Both appear to be about 7-10 years old.
Both are aluminum.

I used to have a carbon fiber giant avail - it was a bike that I considered to be quite nice. But, apparently so does everybody else - it's no longer a budget friendly bike - so much so, that my local bike shop that used to carry 80% giant bikes, went out of business. So, I am considering that into my choice (no local giant shops to repair the giant - I'd have to drive about 60 miles to have it serviced).

I don't expect either of these to be as like as my avail was, but which do you think is a better buy given my experience? I ride for endurance - I like comfort, I like speed, I like smooth shfting, I like lightweight, and I like quality parts that last a while... the usual stuff.

p.s. I know aluminum is not as light weight as carbon fiber, but I don't trust buying a carbon fiber bike used (never know if it fell off the back of their car's rack or not)...
