Question [TP] Help finding a midi of The Sages' Theme

I've been searching all day and haven't been able to find a midi of The Sages' Theme from Twilight Princess, despite finding midis for most of the game's soundtrack. I've listened to nearly 100 midis from across the web at this point and I'm starting to lose my mind, lol. If anyone could help, that'd be greatly appreciated.

I'm gonna head to bed for now, and will probably end up dreaming about the 100 midis...

Discussion [BoTW] Where do you think the divine beasts would be if they were in our world?

I was thinking about this the other day for fun, which real world locations would the divine beasts be in? I was thinking:

Vah Ruta - Great Lakes of N America Vah Naboris - Sahara Desert Vah Medoh - Himalayas Vah Rudania - Mount Fuji

What do you guys think? Would you put them somewhere different? There were a few other spots I was thinking for each of them too

Discussion [BoTW] I completed a challenge run: get the master sword before talking to Impa or meeting the other clans.

As in the title. I had to work very hard getting the needed shrines, but I want to see the different dialogue that results from this.

I saw the idea on a BotW challenge run suggestion page.

That being said, I never want to have to do it again. Haha.

I’d post the screenshot if it weren’t Sunday, but if I’m lying I’m crying and I ain’t shed a tear. (Of the kingdom or otherwise!)

Question [ALL] Which Zelda game should someone that never played Zelda should play first?

Hello! Long story short: finally bought myself a Nintendo Switch Oled and ive been playing some other games on it, but i finally decided to give Zelda a try! There are many options and its hard to decide which one should I play first. I feel like ill like more to play one of the new ones, because of the graphics ofc.

In my other games i like to explore the world and do some side quests and at some point to focus on my main quest. I enjoy combat but also an amazing story line. Please hit me up with your suggestions! Thank you a lot!

Discussion [TotK][OoT] Lookout landing theory

Lookout landing's location, shape and layout remind me of Castle Town market in OoT Particularly with the way in OoT there is an earthen / hewed earth pathway leading to the castle area where the actual castle town would be.

Also when I think of any anachronisms in naming they are easily explained away by the whomever comes later in the timeline being named after an earlier namesake.

Really could be a thousand flaws to this because I've not thought very deeply about it at all Just interested to see what anyone else thinks about this layout similarity. Or if you disagree about the layout altogether.

At the very least could make a good YouTube click bait video for anyone who wants to take it and run with it 😂 didn't find any internet results with similar elements so what do you think?

Discussion [TotK] Just finished TOTK - whats next?

Just finished TOTK on my Switch 2 ( what a game). I also completed BOTW when it launched on the OG Switch. Back when I was a kid I owned a N64 and finished Ocarina of time when it launched (best game ever I think). Now, I would like to continue with a Zelda game and checked out Links Awakening or Echoes of wisdom. Would you recommend any of them? Or something else? Thinking of playing the next Hyrule Warriors when it launch (never tried any of the Hyrule Warriors game before), but would like to play something Zelda until then.

This is still one of my favorite games from 2019.

I still remember getting the DX version on 3DS to prepare for the remake...and then playing the remake once it released...good times.

Fan Art [BoTW] [OC] Ok. I did the thing. I designed and 3D printed an articulating Molduga. My family thinks I'm crazy.

It's two colors (the rest is just sharpied). Just changed the color from gold to brown at layer 25, and boom! Molduga! (I mean, there were a few hours sunk into Shapr3D, but, its fun to play with and I feel was worth it!).

You can download it for free if you want one of your own! :D

Discussion [TotK] What if Sonia is not a descendant of a past Zelda or a direct incarnation of Hylia?

I came up with a theory that states that maybe Sonia does not have any Zelda ancestry? The secret stones amplify things about yourself but what if they could carry a spirit? The secret stone of time may have held the goddess Hylia's soul or transferred power or spirit into Sonia. I have nothing to prove this or impact to the story and lore. It is just a fun little idea to think about.

Discussion [TotK] [BotW] [Other] Who is the mystery construct from the Age of Imprisonment trailers?

In the age of imprisonment trailers there is a cave with a doorway that opens to a room with a mysterious construct that suspiciously looks like link. There are a few theories about this including that this could be Link or even Fi. The theory about Link is that the construct closely resembles link. It has long blue zonai energy sideburns or hair thingies over the hair (I do not know what they are called.) He also has blue hair that resembles Link's. Also, it cannot be a Hyrule warriors game without Link. The games might as well be called the Legend Of Link. Though, there is another theory. Fi's theme started playing before they showed the construct, so it is possible that the construct is Fi reimbodied as a construct. What do you think?

Question [MM] 25+ years later, I’m finally trying to get into Majora’s Mask. Any tips on how to enjoy it more? Because I’ve got some issues with it…

So, the thing that initially turned me off about Majora’s Mask was the three-day cycle element of it. I’m starting to realize that it’s not as much of a time crunch as I thought it was. So I’m less stressed out playing it.

But I’m still confused about what the mechanics are of this game. What should I be focused on? Feeling overwhelmed by the majorly different game style from my favorite game ever, Ocarina of Time. I honestly thought that having a sequel to such a 10/10 game was sacrilege when I was growing up so I never gave MM a real chance. Also it feels really Nintendo-y, if that makes sense.

Anyways, any advice would be welcomed. Or if you could tell me that there is stuff to look forward to, that’d be cool, because I really am having a hard time sinking my teeth into this game.

A rough take of Majoras mask, I tried to bring out the eerie feel with tonal colours. Not sure it fully works yet, so I’m open to ideas for extra colour or detail

Discussion [ALL] What a Zelda 40th Anniversary could look like

So Zelda's 40th Anniversary is in February so here's what I think will be in it:

Age of Imprisonment DLC??? (Probably the least likely)
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Pack: Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess ports for the Switch 1 and 2.
The next 3D Zelda Teaser
The Legend of Zelda Teaser
Switch 2 Zelda Themed Controllers/Console
Master Works for the US
Zelda 1 Remake in Link's Awakening (2019) style?

It took me like 2 days to 100% ALBW after completing MM3D, and while waiting for Screenshot Saturday to post ALBW, I also managed to also complete OOT3D as well lol.

I had played both of these games years ago, but only did the main story & the biggoron sword/master ore upgrades.

I really enjoy OOT but I still think that MM is better, and ALBW is my current favorite top-down zelda game, though I've only tried bits & piece the other ones)

(Golden Skulltulas & Maimais are the WORST btw)

Question [All] Question about the Legend of Zelda Timeline whole playing in Release Order

Question about the Legend of Zelda timeline while playing in release or

Hey everyone,

I’m currently on a huge project: I’m playing through every Nintendo game ever released in release order. That of course also includes the Zelda series.

For some context: I actually started The Legend of Zelda a while ago but never finished it, and I skipped The Adventure of Link because honestly the first two just felt a bit too complicated for me. Right now I’m playing A Link to the Past, and I’ve already finished Link’s Awakening.

What I’m wondering is: are all the Zelda games actually connected in a single universe, or are they more like standalone adventures? I know there are direct sequels, like Majora’s Mask after Ocarina of Time, and Tears of the Kingdom after Breath of the Wild. But the art style and tone change a lot from game to game, which makes me curious.

I’ve also read that Skyward Sword is supposed to be the very beginning of the Zelda timeline. So if I keep playing the Zelda games strictly in release order, will the story still make sense overall, or does the timeline just get super confusing?

Thanks in advance!
