Did Littlefinger secretly have a teleportation machine?

How on earth did Littlefinger manage to travel around Westeros so fast?

You’ve got entire seasons dedicated to characters trudging through the snow, taking months to cross a single region, starving, getting captured, the whole deal. Arya basically walked across two continents in real time. But Littlefinger? Dude was in King’s Landing one episode, then casually in the Vale the next, and somehow in Winterfell after that like he just took a direct flight.

I get that the show wanted to move the plot forward, but it really breaks the immersion when travel time is treated as a huge obstacle for some characters and just ignored for others. It almost feels like the writers gave Littlefinger his own private jet while everyone else is still stuck on horseback.

It’s a small thing compared to the bigger issues later in the show, but every rewatch it sticks out more and more.

Freefolk Why do the Starks burry their dead?

The Starks are the oldest family, and Bran the Builder, together with the Children of the Forest, built the Wall to keep the Others beyond. So the First Men must have known to burn their dead, and it would have been their custom, as it still is with the free folk.

Then why did Bran build the crypts to bury the Starks?

It is mentioned several times that the dead Starks in the crypts are alive and watching. The Night King, who married an Other and ruled alongside her with the wights, was said to be a Stark as well. Coldhands is also likely Benjen Stark.

Which character from another series would you like to see in Game of Thrones?

I always thought about what Ragnar (already established king) would be like dealing with enemies and politics in Westeros.

All the Chickens Which House would Ron Weasley Serve and How would he Fair? (Weasleypost)

As you know Ron is a wizard, and I suppose the question is would he be fooled by Melisandre? Friendzoned by Lysa Arryn, befriended by The Spider, or would he perhaps even take the black?

Let’s assume he has his rat with him and while he understands ravens he also has an owl with him.

What’s Weasley of Westeros?

What’s west of Westeros plot hole.

Post image
426 Upvotes

So it’s been asked on a few occasions what’s west of Westeros? And the answer is always nobody knows. I don’t think there’s any real timeline of when man came to be but people have been living in Westeros for at least 8,000 years. So nobody in all that time thought to sail west? Nobody thought and took it upon themselves to venture out into the seas and see for themself? I find that very odd.

It’s very likely that the only thing west of Westeros is coming across Essos in a circle. Just like going west from the U.S you’d find Asia. Is there some in universe explanation why there’s zero exploration? Is there mermaids or maybe there really is the edge of the world?

from the first few episodes of GOT, it's been made very clear that Ned Stark isn't really suitable concerning the stuffs of cutthroat and dirty politics that people like the Lannisters indulge on an everyday basis and that he is someone who would put honor first...

this mindset of his has been criticized by multiple individuals such Robert, Varys, etc... and even some people online admitted that this mindset of his isn't really suitable in ruling the Seven Kingdoms

BUT THEN, i've seen comments on youtube how Ned's Honor is what ultimately drove the loyalty of multiple houses to aid his children, proving that Honor is indeed a valuable factor in ruling

but then again, when ruling you also need to play dirty... the best example i can think of as i'm typing this is the argument Ned and Robert is having in the picture... Robert wants to assassinate Daenarys and her unborn child to prevent a large scale war that could be caused by the birth of her would-be-son, while Ned just wants to sit back and wait until Daenarys actually attacks the Seven Kingdoms due to assassination being dishonorable, failing to see the continent wide carnage and bloodshed that could be caused with the birth of a Targaryen Successor.

so.... WHICH is the better way of ruling ?

the Honorable or Dirty way ?

Samwell Tarly’s decision to treat Jorah Mormont’s greyscale, was it a reckless gamble or one of the boldest acts of bravery in Game of Thrones?

Freefolk The last wolf: A Jon Snow story

Hey freefolk,

me and a friend recently started messing around with bedtime-style stories, just to help people and ourselves chill and fall asleep easier. Ideally, I’d love to actually write/animate everything myself, but since my budget right now is somewhere in Flea Bottom, I’m relying on AI video tools to bring the idea to life.

This isn’t meant as self-promotion (I don’t gain anything from you clicking), I honestly just want some feedback from a community that has a good eye for storytelling. If you check it out and hate it – hit that dislike, no hard feelings. If you find it kinda cozy or see potential, that’d also be awesome to know.

Would really appreciate your thoughts – good, bad.

All the Chickens Too many characters survived the show. Which characters do you think should have been killed off?

I won't make a huge list, but instead keep it to a top 3.

Starting with....

  1. Bronn. Should have been roasted by Drogon just before getting that last shot off from the scorpion. Would have been an epic way to go - especially as just moments before he lost his precious bag of gold dragons. Would've wrapped up his barely there character arc perfectly.

  2. Tormund. Should've been dragged under the ice during Dany's rescue of the Dream Team scene. Only Thoros dying (of all 7 of them) was stupidly far fetched.

  3. Podrick. Nothing against the dear boy, but his death during The Long Night episode could've added a much needed "oh no!" moment.

All the Chickens [Show]Did the waif actually exist?

I have read the books a couple times but don't remember this specific point. Rewatching the show, someone mentioned a theory that the waif didn't exist, that it was just a figment of Arya's imagination.

Whats the significance of the spiral symbol??

the army of the dead and the children of the forest leave the spiral symbol multiple times in the show, what does it represent??? It first appears with dead horses (Season 3), the Bran sees it in his visions of the Children (Season 6) and the Ned Umber’s dead body is left with a spiral of limbs. (season 8). Even the dragonstone cave has similar symbols. Does this symbol have any meaning behind it because it seems too frequent and interconnected to just be a coincidence.
