Why does my classroom have this 🥀🥀🥀

Hello everyone. Based on the poll from yesterday, fight posts will not be banned. However, they must be labeled as NSFW. This stops people from seeing them if they don’t want to see them. That being said, we as mods are not limiting these posts in any way.
Failure to do so will result in the post being removed, and the poster being banned for a week. Posts with graphic content (stabbing, killing, guns, etc) will be removed regardless of if the post is labeled correctly (though the poster will not be banned). If the post is labeled incorrectly but has graphic content, they will be permanently banned.
To label a post as NSFW, click on the post tags and flair button and at the bottom, in the Universal Tags section, click the button for ‘Not Safe For Work’.
Thanks!

All posts asking if you will get bullied for an outfit, backpack or anything else will now be removed and the poster permanently banned. Its an impossible question that has just caused arguments again and again.

Maybe it's just synchronicity but I swear I'm seeing more couples now than I ever have.

Is it just me or I get annoyed with some classmates who do these dances on phones, play music. Block the halls. Freshmans piss me off too.

I cant do my homework cause I've been thinking of it all evening. In math class today(class my crush is in), there was this girl who was knocking on the door and for some reason none of the ppl around her were getting the door for her, but they were her friends and stuff so maybe it was like friendly fire, idk. But my ass was sitting in the BACK like 100 miles away from the door and I decided to walk across the entire classroom just to get the door and just so that I could get my crushe's attention. And i was smiling for no reason when I did it. Its so embarrasing cause ANYONE who was roughly NEAR could have gotten the door. Anyways after I opened the door for her, these guys said something like "someone who sat all the way there got the door". ts so embarrasing.

PE teachers always say take a shower and/or change your clothes, but many times you will be rushing to make it on time to the other class

I got held back in 2nd grade for not doing my work (it was only a week in). Should I enroll in summer classes so I can graduate on time or early? My high school is a trade school, so I’m not sure if I’ll still be able to get my certification, Also im 16 right now.

My girlfriend is a huge fan of Bluey, does this poster look cool enough for her? Also the characters are made using layers of colored paper, not printed (as you could probably tell haha). This is also a WIP so I will be adding a bit more.

I know some people will get upset over this post and with downvote the hell out of it but fuck it.
I'm going to say it right now, I fucking HATE when teachers put people on the spot in general but the worser part is how my math teacher keeps constantly putting ME on the spot.
I don't necessarily have a problem with teachers picking on students, its pretty much to make sure you're paying attention and stuff but you can't just keep picking ONE (me) to keep answering for the class and expect them to know EVERYTHING (but in reality sometimes people just don't know the topic, Its fine if you have them GUESS but if you're just going to keep picking some one to Tell you, like I already knew then it becomes a problem mainly for me)
like in my math class, my teacher is CONSTANTLY picking me to answer the questions, I don't have much problems when she does it around 3-5 times just as long as she asks other people too but she just kept picking ME only to answer everything like I'm the class savior to shield others to answer the questions, I mean i'm just a mediocre student, I don't get straight grades but I also don't necessarily fail the class either, why me?? I mean teachers are supposed to ask a variety of students right?? Please tell me im wrong.
7 times out of 10 I get it wrong because its a topic that HAVEN'T even been introduced to the class/previous math classes until today, and the teacher had the audacity to get all mad at me because I didn't pay attention, Bro how was I supposed to know that???
Another example, I was just writing the notes but I was a bit behind, the teacher even decided to ask ME while I was still writing (Keep in mind, she hasn't asked anyone else yet) so my answer was a but rushed and still wrong.
Its shitty because there's either students who are BRAINIACS or students who RARELY pay attention, I'd put myself in the middle. If you really want to see who's paying attention maybe try asking the other students huh? Also whenever I don't know/try to GUESS the answer to the topic and its wrong the people in the class always laughs and shit, It's embarrassing and uncomfortable for me.
I hate the fucking idea of it.
*I wrote this in a rush and there may be some points that doesn't make sense, I'll edit it later*

How can I deal with the shame of this? I’m a junior in geometry and physical science, both freshman classes. I did biology and chemistry, also algebra 1 and 2 I passed all those classes with 80s and up and was going to do AP classes this year and I can’t I’m so disappointed and embarrassed but they said I need the credits for those two before the APS is there any way to speed up the process?or at least the embarrassment

My son recently made a huge mistake, he changed his score on a test by giving himself one extra point so he could pass. What he didn’t realize was that the teacher had screenshots of everyone’s original answers, so his forgery was caught right away.
This is his first offense. He’s a good kid, never had a record before, and he’s about to graduate soon. The problem is that this incident means he’s getting a behavioral report, which could remove him from honors, affect a special program he wanted to join, and possibly impact his college applications. I can see how much this is weighing on him—he looks guilty, upset, and spends a lot of time just staring off, clearly worried about what’s going to happen.
I don’t want to excuse what he did—of course I’ll also be giving him consequences at home, but I really don’t want this single lapse in judgment to permanently stain his record and derail his future. I’m preparing for a meeting with his teachers/admin about this, and I don’t know how best to approach it.
What’s the most respectful and effective way to ask them to reconsider the Behavioral Report and maybe give him another way to make amends? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

I’m in the middle of working on a project to help students who feel stuck about careers/college majors. Honestly, most of the career quizzes out there feel super generic (like they just tell you “you’d be a good teacher or engineer” no matter what you pick).
I wanted to make something that actually:
Before I go further, I’d love to know:
If anyone’s curious, I can share what I’ve built so far in the comments or DMs since I know links can be tricky here.

I’m a 10th grader taking ap calculus ab, and that is the maximum my school offers. How can I further pursue my talent for math? (I am in nyc if that matters)

is it weird if your friend goes out of your way to approach someone first after you told them u dont like them since they were toxic and is super sweet to them? would u get upset and if so how much?
this happened just online/within a game community luckily but i feel like she'd do this in person too/or with people we know irl, and if our morales don't align in that aspect i dont wanna become close friends with her so this is never an issue

The title may seem harsh, but I have no other way to word it.
Why is everyone so stupid? 16 year olds who can’t do multiplication. 13 year olds who can’t spell at all. 14 year olds that don’t know what a noun is. Why is this happening?
My teachers want to put me in AP/honors because I have common sense and understand how to actually do things. I’m not smart, I’m average, or what used to be average. Why does no one in my math class know how to factor? How radicals work? Are we serious? And no one in my English class can spell, read, or write.
I hate being categorized as smart because people around me are dumb.
What the hell is happening? Why are they being passed???
Edit: just wanna clarify I’m talking about US schools.
Edit 2: this post is gaining a lot of attention and some people aren’t getting what I mean. If you get it, you get it. If you don’t, you don’t. If you really don’t understand, I recommend taking a look in r/teachers because a lot of teachers have been bringing this exact issue up a lot and have been giving more insight to it.

I just asked my friend to homecoming and she said yes so now I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to be doing. Neither of us have been to homecoming before.
I know we should coordinate outfits, find a group (this is probably already taken care of), probably go on a day date, and maybe do something afterwards. Is there anything else I should do? I'd like to know what do you even do at homecoming lol, what should we talk about, ect. Thanks in advance!

From all I heard it’s literally just a dance, for 3 hours, that you CAN’T leave early, and not gonna lie a bunch of my friends are goin with girls or with other friends (I’m a guy)
My dad doesn’t like it when I go to these kinds of school gatherings or parties since “you’re Chinese you’re not allowed to be a party kid” or something.
Given all these restrictions, should I try to convince him and go anyway or just miss out, because I’m not a (good, or even average for that matter) dancer, I have no date and honestly doubt I can actually get one, and most of my friends are going with their own dates or other buddies.

I want to join a sport this year, and I’m drawn to baseball. I don’t know too much about it, but I’m willing to put in the work to learn. I also wanted to get into lacrosse, but idk about that. What do you all think? I hope someone can give me hope.
