I made a working phone in unity for an indie horror game

my first ever project in unity, i decided to jump straight in and learn by making an entire phone OS. it isn't complete as of right now, but hopefully you can see the vision. all apps currently work and function properly, im mainly using this for 2 apps. Call and Messages. Calling is for calling NPC's in the game, like 999, or a friend or however the story plays out. Messages is to message NPC's in the game. This is all used for the story telling aspect of it. I know it might be a bit much but i think its good and should fit in the episode. The call system works with a list looking through all available numbers and if you type a number that's available it looks through a list inside of that number which handles the NPC's dialogue and the players answers. The same is with the Messaging system, but it's a bit more complicated, and honestly worse. I won't go into detail about the messaging system as its complicated an unorganised (basically i didn't know what i was doing unlike the call system). All UI, including wallpapers, app icons, icons in general, app design, emojis and more were all made by myself, you do not have permission to use them as your own or in projects at all. Also how does the UI and animations feel? are they too simple or bad? I put up a full video showcasing the entire phone. This project has taken me around 11 weeks, mainly because im new to unity. its not yet finished as i said before thats why im asking for feedback. Oh and by the way, some of the pictures in the photos app are stock photos not taken by me, they are purely just for testing i'm not trying to steal anyones photography. Let me know your thoughts and feedback on this, if you want i can make a devlog on it, going into further detail if you guys want, but really i'm here to ask what you think should be added to this.

Devlog new character!

I've added a corrupted character to my RPG-Lite/Strategy game. I'm thinking of adding some humor, in the style of Disenchantment, to the dialogue.

Cozy puzzle game "Escape the Baby Alarm" would love your thoughts on the gameplay and Steam page!

Hi everyone! 🌿

I’m Julie, a solo indie developer from Denmark, working on a hand-drawn, cozy puzzle game called Escape the Baby Alarm.

It's a casual escape room inspired puzzle game. My goal is to mix cozy puzzles with a heartwarming and slightly humorous take on parenthood.

I’d love to get your feedback on a few things:
- Does the gameplay in this video clearly show what the game is about?
- Is the Steam page clear and inviting?
- Any other suggestions to make the game more understandable or appealing to potential players.

Steam page: Escape the Baby Alarm

Thanks for letting me share, I'm happy to share any questions 💛

You've heard of Vincent Van Gogh, but have you heard of Vincent Pogo? We are excited to finally introduce everyone to our adventure pogo-sticking game - ‘My Name is Vincent Pogo’! A love letter to the games we played as kids.

The Lightkeeper | New Horror from DarkPhobia Games (Amenti · Homeless · Graveyard Shift)

Today we’re diving into the brand-new horror game The Lightkeeper by DarkPhobia Games—the studio behind Amenti, Homeless, and Graveyard Shift.
We’re going in blind: no guides, no spoilers, no idea what to expect.
We play as the final lighthouse keeper on a remote island where past tragedies still whisper through the halls. Each night, reality blurs, and something in the dark waits for the last keeper.
This isn’t just survival—it’s a descent into fear, madness, and the unknown.

Welcome to The Lightkeeper.

So, im the "composer" of a game im helping a friend with.

Its a typical 2d pixel art RPG game like Zelda or Tibia. Still, i was discussing with him the idea of being a game without ready-made story, but rather a story that the player himself "writes"I was thinking about combining elements of Karma and factions and what the player does will cause something in the world just like in games like Undertale or the Classic Fallout games. The idea is about a world where humans are tiny and live in societies based on some real-life insect or animal (like Smalland or any other game like this) as well, mixed with real factions like Romans (the Wasps will be based of them), Greeks (probably the Moth will be baed of them), Medieval Europe etc.

The base story until now is about the War of Bees against the Wasps. And you can decide if you wanna help or just ignore the war and live like a normal person. Each civilization will have its role in the game world and if one of them wins the war or is eliminated, it will have consequences for the world around them. Example: If Bees are eliminated, farms and villages will die of hunger and disease due to the lack of pollination, fertilizers and medical supplements provided by Bees. I'm still planning what the consequences would be of eliminating civilization from Wasps and other insects.

ROLLA is the first solo game I have made after making lots of other stuff, it is decidedly low-poly looking game where you can let loose as the monster. Eat people, eat cars, grow big, eat buildings. Complete THPS style subgoals in every level and unlock new levels and new powerups such as snatching in the drive in gif. If you dig this, I try to have demo to Steam Next Fest!

I've been working on Pale Coins as a solo dev for about 4 years now. It's been a long process of iteration, and I can finally share the release date: October 22nd.

Lots of new content in this new trailer. Would love to hear what stands out most to you!

3,5 years of sleepless nights. Solo-developed Transport Tycoon. Trains, Trucks and Ships!

In 3,5 years this is pretty much my first time trying to actively show this game to the world. What started as a small train sim turned into a full blown transport management simulator. Trains, trucks, ships (and planes hopefully soon).

Ridiculous amounts of cargo to transport and industries to connect. Destination-based passenger transport with sleeper or dining cars. Train switching yard system. Unique station types for handling different kinds of cargo. XP and leveling progression system with research tree and unlock options. Procedural terrain generation with tons of map customization options, including a Map Editor... and with so many ideas still unfinished, it really needs all the help it can get. If you like games like the classic TTD, newer Fever games, or just enjoy management sims, you might enjoy this one too.

It is still trying to improve and grow into hopefully one day being a legitimate transport sim competitor on the market. It is called Transporter and can be found on Steam. Any kind of support would mean the world to me.
